Knight of God
The guy is strong and I think would bring that versatility we are looking for. With the system set as it is, I think he would be an asset. What say you?

Knight of God
He's 30. I hear his knee is as good as it is going to get.
Bawse
Hasn't played in three years, I dunno. Would seem like the type of player our franchise would target though.

Moist Words
Why not?If he can come back to the form he showed early on in his career he would be worth it.We're already loaded with players with injury histories what is one more in camp going to hurt? PeytonMannings Forehead
I don't see the harm at this point. He literally has played every defensive line position in his career. I always like to look younger at this point in the off season, but considering there are only 3 defensive tackles on the roster, I'd welcome this move for a motivated vet. Do you see him returning to DT?I could see him as competition for Claiborne at LDE.Which would be scary if he made the final 53 honestly with both of their injury histories. He also has that thing. It was the same thing that made Igor Olshansky so well liked. Just mean on the field and a team player.
JRid
He was the only guy that did the bench press today and he benched 225 lbs 40 times. Dude is definitely strong. He also said that Dr. James Andrews cleared him and he has never felt better. Not sure if he is actually completely healed, but if he is he might be worth a look. Always like him as a run defender. My mind just automatically went to him spelling the interior guys with his size. Might be a tough ask at this point in his career, but like I said he's played everywhere. He's got a little -- I don't want to be blasphemous -- but I always though he had some Howie Long in him with his scheme versatility. If we are overlooking Clayborn's injuries too...Adam is a great candidate. I would say better than Clayborn.

It'd be interesting if Carrcker can still play. I love his style. Nasty, long guy. Had a good career going until the injuries
Clark Kent™
I thought it was going to be a good move for the Rams when they picked him up fresh off the torn quad he had, but i don't think he ever played for them. He obviously would be extremely cheap so i'd be all for him battling it out in camp.
coastiemike
You definitely bring him in for a shot. Worse that happens is he is cut in training camp. Best is that he has a rotational spot on the d line.

DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
I do think Carriker's health history is significantly scarier than Clayborn's. Far more complications. Multiple revision surgeries. But we have nothing to lose by bringing him in.
Cheyakita
For all the crap everyone gives TD for signing injury related players and then we want to go after a guy who hasn't played in three years....ummm no
DurtyBurdz155
Why not? Bring him in and let him COMPETE

He is 4 years older and his numbers are much worse than Clayborns. From what I have read he seems a bit bull headed and less coachable. Other than being strong guy does not impresse.
