momak
Sign Greg HardyTrade a second or 3rd for BennettDraft Shelton with our first round pickD Line: Hardy - Shelton - Hageman - Bennett D line depth: Calyborn Babs Soliai Jackson SchofieldLB: Durant - Reed - 3rd or 4th round pick / other LB on rosterSecondary: Trufant - Alford - Moore - Ishmael (could even draft Fowler Ray or Beasley instead of Shelton)Trufant played lights out when opposing QBs had all day to throw could you imagine how good he will be when opposing QBs are under relentless pressure running for their life or on their back.Plus this needs to be done ASAP as Matt is in his Prime and we have the ability to contend this year if we make the right moves.Offense will be will be just fine we just need to draft a LG and TE, or pick up a vet at the position after the June cuts. Geaux_Falcons
Well first things first, Seattle ain't trading Bennett unless they sign Hardy more than likely. Secondly, Seattle ain't getting nothing higher than a 4th for Bennett, and that's being generous imo. We don't need a top 5 defense either. We just need a consistent pass rush and some stable LB's. At minimum, if we can shut down on one end, and be opportunistic on turnovers, then we will have a solid defense that's not always getting slaughtered or blowing leads. Dirtybird56
Hardy's going to get 9m+ annually. It's not like he's going anywhere at a discount
Makaveli96
You can't "make a top 5 D with a few simple moves."

If we have to give a 2nd or 3rd for Bennett this year than so be it.

momak
You can't "make a top 5 D with a few simple moves."Its been done before so i see no reason why we cant do it if we make some aggressive moves. There is always a reason not to upgrade the pass rush, FAs to expensive, We have other draft needs, Character issues and we get same result poor talent and no pass rush.We need a good to elite D line and it can be done with a few moves.
