The Rock
Watch this game film of Bud Dupree and explain to me why the Falcons or anyone for that matter would draft Dupree in the 1st round? Tell me where you saw his impact or speed or instincsts etc.Alvin Bud Dupree "OLB/DE" vs Florida 2014:
Francis York Morgan
While we're at it I like Dupree a bit more than Fowler, though I wouldn't take him at 8 probably, barring extreme circumstances.PS: Watch around 4:52 of the Dupree game. A few other times too. Guessing you didn't watch the full thing. Either way, as I've said before, his consistency and motor are definitely a question. Sandy5prings
Not worth a #8 pick for sure. If all the pass rushers we want are gone by #8, we should try to trade down.
MoFalconsFan56
I could only get through 4 min of that. Looked like a 2-3 round pick to me in that game. I didn't watch the rest of his college career though to be fair

He has a half dozen in this game alone: (the tackle flub around 2:44 is embarrassing, but tackling is very coachable)
Falcanuck
Dupree has athleticism, but his football skills do not merit a top 10 pick
Knight of God
Very raw. Needs a lot of work. I still say would be better than Gregory.

I've been going back and forth w him and Fowler. Can't make up my mind who I personally want although I'm ok w either

Beast-N-Da-Sheetz
Honestly, I'd take Lorenzo Mauldin over Dupree, but neither in the first rd.

Good in coverage and sheds well on the way to the gap. Beasely appears undersized for the NFL at that position but I understand he's put on some weight. Maltese Falcon
Here's the fun and insane opinion - None of the Top 5 DE are worth #8. Questions abound with every single one of them. Watch us go OL. Just Watch.
devilishfalcons
Very raw. Needs a lot of work. Monolith2001
All these guys are going to make bad plays and even have bad games. Beasley's effort against FSU was a great performance and he made Cam Erving look silly at times but the game winning run happened partly because Beasley didn't stay at home. Still Beasley, Fowler and Ray are the best bets to be quality assets pretty quickly based on film.

Atlanta_Dawgs46
Watch the Missouri game. Bud was good against them. However, I do agree that he is not worth the #8 pick. Vic, Ray, or RG will be there at #8.
Jerry Maguire
You definitely can't look at one game. He is very raw. Athleticism plus production in the SEC. I think Beasley is the Falcons guy but he may be gone and Dupree may be right behind him bc Quinn believes in his staff as teachers.

Butudontseeme™
I've wanted Beasley to start. That dude has a burst that is >>>>>>. That being said, it wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit if we lucked out and got Beasley at 8 and traded back into the 20s for Dupree. Dupree reminds me of JPP coming out, a physical freak and that needs refining.

He is my first choice. Having said that, Bud Dupree has been a favorite of mine for a long time now. I respect what he has done against SEC competition and I love the thought of Quinn working with him.
