laugh all you want

Payton is reshuffling the deck

Hate to see Graham and Stills go but getting quality cb, lb, c, and lots of draft picks

cap **** really hurts teams that bring together a lot of talent

Seahawk have thrived on key cheap player who soon will garner big salaries

having been paying attention elsewhere but Saints are at least making bold moves to fill key spots, prepping for later cap and bringing in people

They are discontent with last year and ripping the old sheetrock and expensive light fixtures down.

Better score big in the draft and solidifying the o line

what have Atlanta and Carolina done?

Is Cam holding out for the $$$$?

We got rid of the HC and coaching staff. Who are ultimately responsible for under performing. The saints get rid of all the players. while loomis forces paycuts.

We have a new coach, what do you expect him to do. try and buy a sb when he walks in the door? He probably doesn't even know the team players name yet.

Benson is officially crazy for letting this stuff happen.

Cam's not holding out. He and his agent said contract talks aren't important right now and they would gladly wait until Luck and Wilson get new contracts and reset the qb payday. Like what Flacco's contract did for guys like Smith, Cutler, Ryan, Stafford.

Panthers' are just sitting back with the feet propped up, relaxing... watching the show the Saints are putting on. G-man adding depth to the bottom half of the roster.........and thinking about the draft, where he adds starters and depth to the top half of the roster.

Don't really know yet.

I'll let you know come training camp.

But Quick Question back. Who posted a thread saying that Carolina or Atlanta hasn't improved?

So if you're not certain what kind of team the Falcons are fielding and will have to wait till training camp, then why doesn't the same apply for the Saints?

Only difference between what SP and Co are doing and ATL, is that ATL had 30+ in cap space and therefore doesn't need to make drastic moves. We had a bunch of money tied up in underachieving vets and now a cap ton of those vets are either gone or have taken a pay cut/restructure. Plus Payton believes big moves needed to be made this offseason, and now were seeing that he meana business. Both teams still sucked last year but imo neither is in anbetter position than the other. Of coarse ATL fans will disagree lol. We may not have a superstar in Graham anymore, but our O isnt going to suddenly fall off the face of the earth. Better line play and a productive rushing attack will help. If SP and RR can successfully turn this D around there will be a lot of crow served around here.

We got a new coaching staff and hasnt even had a chance to meet all his players. Who dats act like they should do like Loomis and play madden 15 and trade everyone.

You dont do fire sales when everything is good. You do that when crap is hitting the fan. We did that in 08 when we drafted Ryan. Maybe you all will get your future QB as well.

BUt we have had 0 time to see what product we will field or what system.

No the saints are doing a fire sale making major news every day.

The falcons arent in panic mode. We made the tough change. We just dont know what the new coach will do with us. Payton has been around for a while. To do a fire sale says panic is setting in. Cap **** is a mutha ******.

Because we didn't blow the thing up. We at least have a foundation...

I have an idea of what to expect, but I can't claim it.

Just replacing Bersin with Ginn on ST is a massive, massive improvement. The draft.......... it's nice having faith beforehand that your GM will strike gold with nearly every pick. Until proven wrong....... I believe we'll get at least 6 new starters in this draft.

Everyone was nearly good enough at one point. That includes the 2 win Bucs!

What saints fans fail to see is the obvious. You held all the cards last year. The time was there, the window was wide open.

Now everyone wants us to believe a firesale is a good thing for them?

even the players they bring in are having to take a paycut just to be traded to them. Thats screwed up.

Regardless to all that BS you just typed, it is still yet to be determined what kind of team the Saints will have fielded.

Everything will be proven on the field

And, so what? The only thing that will matter is what happens on that field, we can claim, not claim, speculate, or predict whatever you want, but it don't matter until we see them take the field
