Trouble

Jackson Fired

Neither have a majority of players when playing with the Saints

Some of those guys have been apart of winning seasons as well as a special season.

Sjax never enjoying a winning season had more to do with the Rams' ineptitude since he wasn't on the falcons that long.

This kind of bad roster building/cap management will cause future Free agents to think twice. TD really hurting the franchise with his cavalier style.

It was said that SJ was the missing piece for the Falcons and he would pick up those last 10yds the team failed to get in the previous season

They "forgot"

Yeah I feel like they needed a new GM and scouting department over a new HC

Lol @ the Saints fans equating releasing a 30 year old RB that has clearly lost a step, to having to restructure/release several players because your team is $28M over the cap.

Only in RC

Yep, only in RC regular posters think they know more than professional GMs

What, exactly, is the problem with restructuring a contract? Why do you think so many players are so open to the idea? It doesn't hurt them at all. In fact, it gives them a big chunk of money up front, and spreads it out for the team. There is absolutely nothing that hurts the player in restructuring a contract.

Also, any release the Saints make can also be deemed as an aging player who has lost a step. All Saints fans are doing is what Falcons fans do every time the Saints cut someone.

Lol Noone says **** when the saints cut someone. Just more whodat victim complex shining through.

Only thing ever said was regarding cutting key players to make room for Graham. Now it's about cutting key players to get within cap specifications

You guys need to go get on Prozac or something

What key players were cut? They traded Sproles, but other than him who are these key guys?

Funny thing here is, when he was signed to his three year deal everyone understood it was really a two year plan.

I know you guys gotta reach for whatever you can get your hands on but ****

If you've never seen the, "I don't know why a player would sign with the Saints knowing they'll never see the whole contract" comment, then I'm not sure what to tell you. There's always talk of the Saints doing shady business with players and what not. It may all be tongue in cheek, but so is everything Saints fans are saying.

That may have been the understanding based on the deal structure, but don't act like you weren't here reading how SJax was the last piece of the championship puzzle. That's where the jokes are coming from, not necessarily the fact they cut him.

Never said restructuring was necessarily a bad thing. Obly, there's a distinct difference in releasing an aging RB and a FO having to scramble because precious deals have them under water in regards to the cap.

tl;dr Being $28M over the cap is NOT a good thing. You guys will realize this when you lose both starting guards and Junior.

Yea I'd be willing to bet that stuff came from rivals to begin with just like how shred can say some players are good and 15 rivals jump on about how shred claimed every falcon ***** gold bricks.

So, what if that doesn't happen? The GM is on record as saying the team is in better shape this year cap wise then last year. But of course him saying that is crazy talk, what would he know about his own football team.

Figured that, but you said playerS, so i thought you had some others you were referring to as well

At the time when they cut playerS. And people were talking about it, it wasn't well known that playerS werent that significant.
