Great pic of the fam bro. Nice thread too.

I think I remember sitting near you and the fam at the 2012 ARI@ATL game. Believe me and Falconidae were a few seats away arguing the whole time while watching Ryan toss up five picks. Smittyball won by four though. We went on to the NFCCG that year. First NFCCG I ever got to attend. Started great and ended up way more than ten yards away from a Bowl cause we've been in the toilet ever since.

Anyway most of yall know me. Born in Atlanta, bred in Atlanta, will probably die in Atlanta. Been following every Georgia team since the sixties. Love em all equally. Yep even UGA and GT. Go Hawks!!!

Need rest. Still think we may be years away but always hope we can catch fire and take one of these watered down Goody Bowls.

yep it was me. Don't know if you heard me or not during pre game but when they said give it up for the cheerleaders, I was the one cheering. I pad for it when I got home. Matter of fact this pic is from that game lol

ps4,xbox one and wii u. I play ps4 online though.

Oh cool, I have a PSN+ membership too. I don't really play FPSs nowadays anymore myself (although I am very interested in The Order: 1886). Recently I've been playing mostly Tomb Raider online.

add me ya_boi_j127. I was playing madden ultimate team but those people paying for coins to make their team beasty make it kinda boring for me as I don't pay for players or take it nearly that serious lol. I play nba 2k15 my team but mostly play domination. I've played a couple of guys from here in madden.

Waiting on the new batman game to come out. Just picked up Lego batman 3 on XBOX one today. I received nba live 15 as a gift but it sucks donkey kongs, if you catch my drift.

My name is Melissa. I've been a forum member for a while but do not post much. I am originally from Ringgold. I live in Chattanooga now. I'm 27 with no kids or husband. I've been a Falcons fan since I was 11. I try to make it to at least 2 games a year. I'm also a fan of the Braves, Hawks, and Bulldogs. Here's a pic of me and my dog who recently passed away. She was also a Falcons fan :)

I'm 37 & was born in North Dakota, but left that frozen heIIhole when I was just a few months old. My dad was in the Air Force, so we moved a ton while I was growing up. I spent a large & important chunk of my childhood living in Turkey. We moved back to the states in the late 80's & ended up in NC, where I've lived ever since.

Because we moved so much, and especially living overseas, I didn't really have a home team. I was a big Walter Payton fan as a kid & got wrapped up in the excitement of that '85 team, but then Payton retired & I lost interest in the Bears. In Turkey in the mid to late 80's, we had one TV channel through the Armed Forces Network, and they'd show one game a week. This was the Montana/Rice era 49ers heyday & they'd always show them playing... so I saw the Falcons a lot (being in the same division as the 49ers in those days) & was drawn to them because I liked pulling for the underdog, I liked the uniforms, and I thought Gerald Riggs reminded me a little bit of Walter Payton. I decided the Falcons were going to be my team.

When we found out we were moving to NC after leaving Turkey, I was excited because I thought there would be plenty of fellow Falcons fans around. Boy, was I wrong. Seemed like everyone was riding Mark Rypien & the Redskins' jocks, because they were winning regularly at the time. The Panthers didn't exist yet, and d@mn near everyone in tis state seemed to consider the Skins as their home team. Nobody wanted anything to do with the Falcons, but I stuck with them & loved watching Deion, Rison, Tuggle, Case, etc.

I never played organized football. It wasn't available in Turkey, so I played soccer & baseball instead. I was really thin, but pretty fast, so I got asked to tryout by the HC for my high school football team. By the time I was 16, I was playing in bands that were doing a little touring, and I didn't want to risk getting an hand or arm injury & not being able to play music, so I never bothered trying out.

I turned down an opportunity to go to art school right out of high school & ended up playing guitar and/or bass in touring bands for 20 years, playing thousands of shows in almost every state & in Canada, and recording a bunch of albums. When not on tour, I managed a concert hall, where I still oversee the shows & handle the graphic design duties for a number of venues we promote. Between the shows I've played & worked, I have seen about 15,000 bands.

I drank a whole lot of bourbon & my 20's are kind of a blur. I've tried just about everything that was available in the 90's & early 00's. Thankfully, never got hooked on anything & saw most of it as a waste of time, money, and energy. I smoked Lucky Strikes from the time I was 18 until I was 31. Haven't had even one drag off a cigarette in over 6 years, and other than a beer or two after work a few times a week, I hardly drink these days.

For now, I'm on an indefinite hiatus from playing music at the level I did for years, in order to focus my energies back on visual arts & to have an opportunity to travel in a way that actually allows me to see more than just another music venue in all the places I visit (you really don't get to see all that much on tour w/ a band since you're working & constantly on the move). I've finally found the time to explore a longtime love of photography & to do more freelance design work.

I'm married to the most amazing woman I've ever met. She played bass in a few bands with me & is truly my soulmate. We only got married last summer, but dated for 12 years before that. We have no children, but we have a 15 year old dog named Jangles who we rescued when he was a pup & is a tough son of a gun.

Here's a video someone did from a show a few years ago. My wife on bass & vocals, my good friend Tim on drums, and myself on guitar & vocals.

My first name is Corey and you all will find out who the heII I am in 2-3 years(if you don't, then this post will make me look like a cocky jackass lol).

Film school is a b!tch, but I'm taking it in stride.

I already have a degree in business, but I had no idea what I wanted to do with it, which led me to film because that is what I should have pursued from the beginning.

Yeah I thought we talked about that game before but wasn't sure. That was the day I met Idae. We were about five seats away from you. Arguing. He was saying Turner was washed up. I was saying no he aint. Lookin back on it we were both right cause he ran us past SEA and into the NFCCG but washed out after that game. Anyway yes I remember seeing you. I love your love of family. That's what we're missing bro. The demise of the family unit is one of the saddest things I've witnessed in my lifetime. Hopefully we'll get back to it one day. Make your family strong and keep your family long. Great thread. Best I've seen in months.

I am Alan. I am a 42 year old lawyer from West Wales in the UK. I became a Falcons fan in 1986. I fell in love with the NFL after wathcing highlights of a 51-45 OT shoootout between the Jets and Dolphins. I was drawn to the Faclons because they player in the same red and black colours as Manchester United and they had the only British Player in the NFL at that time (Mick Luckhurst). I've been a fan ever since.

Following NFL games from 4000+ miles away was tough in the 80's - when we had 1-2 hrs of highlights per week on TV and no live games except the super bowl. However, I would listen to games live on Armed Forces Radio. The reception was barely audible, and often interfered with by other stations broadcasting Spanish Soccer and Italian Opera. I was so mad about the NFL, that every Monday Night I would get up at 2am and listen to MNF on the radio until 5am. I would listen to many SNF games the same way as well. One of my fondest childhood memories is of being wrapped up safely in bed in the early hours, whislt it is raining /snowing outside, with headphones on and the radio turned right up, listening transfixed to games. it was like being in another world for 3hrs.

With friends, I tried set up a team in school. We also followed a British team called the Swansea Dragons, and travelled to play with their junior team one season - but sadly the team folded in the late 80's when support for the game began to fall in the UK (after peaking in 1985/86).

My first NFL Game was a 1991 pre-season game between the Raiders and Aints. My first proper (non-preseason) NFL game was in 1994 in Atlanta but didn't involve the Falcons (go figure!). I have been to 3 MBGT's and watched 4 Falcons games live.

In my spare time I enjoy photography, and spend a lot of time photographing birds of prey (see my signature). I also enjoy watching many other sports, including Soccer, Darts, Motorcycle road racing, F1. I also read a lot, and play the guitar very badly.

Lmao

Why not both?

Could I become the 1st ever Oscar award winning porn director????? lol

On a serious note, becoming a major feature film director and producer is what I'm trying to get to. I currently write scripts that I hope to turn into full feature films after I finish school. I plan on starting off working my way up with a major corporation, then going independent and starting up my own feature film production company/studio.

That's awesome man. I have a friend who's in the business. He actually took the leap of faith and moved across the country to Cali. He's doing pretty good for himself though--landed a couple of gigs and working his way up. So what's your inspiration? Genre preference?

I feel you, man. My dad wasn't really around for us at all when I was growing up, and I learned a lot about how not to be... to family, to women, to friends, etc... by finding the things I didn't like in him & making sure I didn't repeat that behavior. I haven't spoken to him in over 12 years, and have watched my feelings on him go from anger when I was in my teens to disappointment in my 20's to indifference these days.

There really is nothing like having that support & trust from a loving family. At the end of the day, all we have that cannot be taken from us is our experiences, and the ones we make with our loved ones are always the best, and is why having those people in your life, and providing that sort of love & support back, is beyond priceless. You can lose a house, a car, a job, fancy clothes, but family is forever.
