You're already assuming I'm lying lol. I don't remember every game of his i've watched, even if i did feel like listing them. Search around youtube for any full games of his or Clemson's in general the last few years, that will give you a start.

I've watched every game this year, ever since I got interested in him. Majority of the games last year and a few the year before. He improved drastically from 2013 to 2014. I'd be willing to put my name on him being the best pass rusher selected in the first round this draft, as long as he goes somewhere with decent defensive coaching. He destroys 1-on-1s, but he was being doubled more than half of his snaps.

Other rushers just have a hard time comparing. Gregory doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath. Fowler could be good but I'm real hesitant, very boom or bust, moreso bust. In the right system Ray could outperform Beasley and be an All Pro for years, but I also feel like he could burn out completely. Dupree is the next closest thing to a "sure" pass rusher in this draft, I like him an awful lot. But Beasley strikes me as someone who has a shot at double digit sacks year one. The NFL's best pass rushers have burst and good hands, and Beasley has those in spades.

Never said Beasley isn't the best passrusher. I said he struggles in the running game and i don't like picking 2 down players in the 1'st. Add in the giving up on plays and possibility to have his speed get shut down/overpowered at the pro-level and i'm just not a fan of picking him high. Seems like 2'nd round talent to me, which is the round i begin to become okay with picking players the best of their class at one particular thing with question marks in a few other areas. Players with high ceilings and low floors.

In the end, Beasley strikes me as a boom/bust prospect. I don't like those kinds of players in the 1'st, that's all.

I'm not enamoured with any of the passrushers in this draft. Started out being hugely opposed to taking any of them in the 1'st, but Ray and Gregory grew on me to the point that I at least wouldn't complain. I think there will be better talent at 8 no matter which passrushers are still left, but if we strike out on passrushers in FA I'd understand.

Really don't like Beasley though. I'd be disappointed if he was the pick. I don't like his effort, he reminds me a lot of Clowney in that regard. That and I think he relies too much on Speed in passrushing, and it's evident he isn't strong enough in the run game. If we pick a passrusher in the first, but especially at 8, he needs to be the whole package, not just a 2 down rushing specialist that may or may

Bro meh my words snapshot it do whatever you want. Remember I said it first. VIC BEASLEY is going to be the best pass rusher of this class in about 3 years strong I'm telling you

I like Bud Dupree. Is he top 10 talent? I dunno but I like him

I like Bud Dupree as well. According to most lists he could be available to us in the early second round. I have a feeling he will make a late run up the boards though.

I will definitely remember that if he ends up coming to the ATL. Not saying you're wrong about him, I just don't see it. Wouldn't be the first or last time i'm wrong though. Not rooting against the kid.

Haven't started researching the prospects yet but my view is the same as always. Don't rely on rookies to fill holes in your starting line up. Fill those with proven vets by re-signing some of our free agents and free agents of other teams. Then when you go into the draft seek out as many trade down opportunities as possible and stockpile draft picks. When we are on the clock take the BPA, in every round. Even if it's not at a position of need. And yes, this applies to the QB position as well (see Aaron Rogers and GB). Don't get caught in a Dimi trap by drafting for need. That's how you take Jelly over Clay Matthews.

Couldn't agree more with you. +1. I just don't get how you can watch his games and not see how great of a pass rusher he is. You won't find a better pass rusher in this draft.

Fixed.

Dimi was ultimately accountable for building the Atlanta Falcon's roster. Whether he selected players or was advised to select players. He has stated this several times. So if he was forced to take certain players then he is a weak yes man that was easily puppeted and should have been fired at least a year ago.

Blank knows what smitty wanted compared to what td wanted. One is no longer with us while the other is. There is a reason for that.

SO if the Quinn and Dimi marriage turns out to be incredible you going to give Dimi the credit or Quinn?

from that statement it should go to Dimi, but my guess is you will give it to Quinn,

It's not about being weak, when an HC wants one player over the other that the GM wants, the GM takes the player the HC wants over what he himself wants. 10/10 times, any team in the league. That's how the NFL works.
