My hope is we don't pick at 8. The browns have picks 12 and 19, and I hope they fall in love with somebody at 8 giving us a chance to pick twice in the first.

Told Gurley at #8 lol

I'd be happy w/ Ray, Fowler or Beasley @ 8. Gurley @ 8 is laughable & I'm a UGA alum. 2nd round @ the earliest but I'd rather go OL or LB in the 2nd round.

That wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. There is enough talent two get two good picks at 12 and 19. But to give away a another first for moving up 4 spots? I do not see that happening. I would think they want to move up a bit higher for their player!

Well, it would require our second round pick or a 3rd and 5th at minimum. I figured that was inferred. Sorry.

I would go with Cann, Collins, or Ray (In that order) if the draft was tomorrow. We'll see where people's draft stock is at once the time rolls around though.

I would trade back if Shane Ray is the guy or if the other pass rushers or gone. I'm not a big fan of randy Gregory but something about Shane ray screams Bust. Now I do think he will be an average player in the nfl level I just don't think he is worth a top 10 pick man he runs like cliff mattews. Lol I know it's just an opinion man but when we drafted Peria jerry I had that same feeling. I don't think he will be good as his pick. I think Dante fowler jr and Vic Beasley would have dominated in Missouri man . Missou always be in the top of the ncaa in sacks. Think about man. Vic Beasley and Dante fowler jr had no help at their schools man. They were the only ones getting doubled. You can't really double one player in the missou defensive front all of them or natural born pass rushers go watch.

He runs like Cliff Matthews? I didn't know Matthews ran a 4.4 40

Amari Cooper...

This is of course considering we get 2 pass rushers in FA and some more depth along both lines. Might be pushing it, but it can be done. And I love the thought of HD,JJ,AC,and RW

Agreed.

take a receiver or RB at 8 and i'm done with this franchise.

I hear the Saints are looking for extra fans, and fake fans like yourself.

A. Cooper has the Raiders pick @ 4 written all over him - jmho.

Agreed

I don't think the browns would give up two first round picks in the same draft to move up to 8. I think it be a first this draft and a first next year. Which I would still take. But yea it be great to have two first rounders this year.

I'm not enamoured with any of the passrushers in this draft. Started out being hugely opposed to taking any of them in the 1'st, but Ray and Gregory grew on me to the point that I at least wouldn't complain. I think there will be better talent at 8 no matter which passrushers are still left, but if we strike out on passrushers in FA I'd understand.

Really don't like Beasley though. I'd be disappointed if he was the pick. I don't like his effort, he reminds me a lot of Clowney in that regard. That and I think he relies too much on Speed in passrushing, and it's evident he isn't strong enough in the run game. If we pick a passrusher in the first, but especially at 8, he needs to be the whole package, not just a 2 down rushing specialist that may or may not be effective against faster NFL O-linemen.

This of course would be best. Not sure how likely though.

I'm actually curious what games you watched of Beasley's that'd give that impression in any way. Yeah, he's incredibly quick, but he also has the best hands of any pass rusher this draft. He could contribute immediately. And his ability to defend the run is grossly underestimated, he looked pretty dang good doing it, it's just that his size might make it harder to still do that at the next level.

Out of creeping suspicion I googled "Vic Beasley scouting report" and looked at his analysis on CBS, and it looks like you pretty much copied your opinion directly from it.

Then I guess i'm not the only one to see those things. I don't read scouting reports if I have time to watch the tape myself.

Alright, like I said - please tell me which games you watched. Conveniently avoiding that part...

You're already assuming I'm lying lol. I don't remember every game of his i've watched, even if i did feel like listing them. Search around youtube for any full games of his or Clemson's in general the last few years, that will give you a start.
