Tired Of Hearing How Great Russell Wilson Is

What did you guys think of the two-point conversion pass? He just chucked it high and hoped for the best. Guess what, the best happened. Green Bay should be ashamed of themselves.

Except he isn't the reason for all of that. Put him on any other team and see what happens when you don't have a great defense. See mark sanchez. A great defense made him look good. Once it went away, so did the illusion of him being a good Qb.

Fact is, it's easy to be "good" when even during good games he doesn't have to make any more than 15 to 18 completions.

He's definitely not a part of the problem...

...and Clinton Dix caught an interception with one-arm barely turned around! Good play making or luck...

Russell Wilson goes to the Children's Hospital every Tuesday.

He does that so he can steal all their miracles so he can use them on Sundays.

He needs to be in jail. /purple

He's the Terry Bradshaw of his generation and he seems perfectly content in that.

If he can pull a Bradshaw and win 4 Superbowls then yea he will be as smug as a bug in a rug.

Lol.

Wilson had a couple of bad throws, but if he had Julio Jones on his team they would be touchdowns.

Receivers can make a QB look good or bad. Wilson's receivers made him look bad.

This goes for any QB

It's silly how people keep conveniently ignoring this. The leading receiver (Doug Baldwin) on the Seahawks had only 842 yards on the season, good for 42nd in the league.

He's overrated for sure. If Jacksonville had drafted him no one would be talking about him, I can tell you that much. But he is a solid game manager.

dont get me wrong, i really the kid as a person but sick of hearing how great he is.

how successful would he be on a team like the falcons or any other team that isnt

top 2 defense every year???? He wins because of Seattle's defense and no other

reason

Also tired of hearing QB's judged by how many SB's they have one. manning has one

so he must really be a crappy QB.

Ryan would be hailed as greatest of all time with that Defense. ANy QB would

He won the game for them... What else do you want??

If you look at Wilson's performance today as a whole, there isn't a single other team in the league right now that you could turn in a performance like that and still have a chance to win

How do you criticize someone for not doing more when he's already off to the greatest start to a career ever? Everybody knows he doesn't have a great receiver but he's got a higher passer rating than almost every great QB that actually did have them. If he only needs to pass the ball 25 times per game to win, does it make sense for him to pass 35 times per game? And why's it better to have help on offense than defense?

I'm not supposing him to be great, but at his current rate he's going to be in the Hall of Fame, as sucky as he is. Actually in hindsight, if he wins multiple Super Bowls, he'll be great by the very definition of it.

The truth, Wilson is a great human being. In these cases, the guy gets the benefit of the doubt...see Tim Teabow. The LESS a QB has to do, the easier it is to look good. Wilson is on a team with a GREAT defense and a GREAT ground game. That combination gets Trent Dilfer a championship. Wilson is a lot better than Dilfer. He shouldn't have to apologize for being in a great spot for himself. I think that's what all players want.

I think the issue comes in when the media wants to play the hype game. Wilson's individual QB numbers are not in the top 5. Not in passing yards, completions, completion percentage or TDs. His int's are low b/c again, he doesn't have to throw it a lot and put it in harms way. He ranked 19th this year in pass attempts. What team has ever not been about the QB? That's just the way it is.
