Would Moving To A Zbs Revitalise The Careers Of Konz And Carimi?

Both Konz and Carimi were very well thought of coming out of college. Carimi was a first rounder and Konz was the first center drafted in 2012. Both came from Wisconsin, where zone blocking was prominent. If we move to a ZBS then is there a chance that they start looking like the players they were when they were drafted, or were they just busts?

Konz should be really good at it, he is always lunging and falling on his face. But he would have to work on actually making contact with the defender if he starts blocking that way...:p As far as ZBS blocking in college...Carimi and Konz zone blocked at Wisconsin? Then what the hades is TD doing selecting a guy used to a blocking scheme that the Falcons were not even using at the time??? You just do not waste draft picks that way, not a 2nd rounder...

How DARE you suggest that TD would waste a Draft pick.....

Maybe this year he will trade up.

And with the First Round of the 2015 NFL Draft,,
