I'd love Fangio or Schwartz.

Instead, we'll probably get a position coach with no coordinator experience. (I'm not complaining. It's okay)

Sounds passive aggressive (complaining).

Hes a 3-4 guy I believe. Austin is a 4-3

Hard to say that Austin is a "4-3 guy" when he only had one year experience as the Lions DC in a 4-3. Before that, he was on the Ravens staff running a 3-4. But Austin has always been a DB coach or generic assistant, so it's hard to know what his real preference is. He's coached on both 3-4 and 4-3 staffs throughout the years; the Cardinals were running a 4-3 when he was there and they went to the Super Bowl in 2008, but transitioned to a 3-4 in 2009.

Fangio is in the same boat. While the Ravens and Niners ran a 3-4, he has experience with a 4-3 defense from his time with the Saints, Panthers, and Colts.

It should be noted that Austin and Fangio have never worked together ... Austin joined the Ravens a year after Fangio left.
