The Psl Sales Thread Challenge!

You are the owner of the Atlanta Falcons and you fired the winningest coach in your team's history. You have also retained your questionable GM and have a 1.2Billion dollar stadium being built.

You have lost courtship with what just about everyone in your industry considered to be a perfect fit for your franchise to excel and your once winning franchise is now back to the losing ways it started from.

How do you convince fans to buy PSLs?

Go!

PSLs are a losing proposition in Atlanta anyway.

Best thing AB could have done was to allow PSL holders to have access to all events at the stadium, not just Falcons games. This would include SEC Championships, bowl games, college kickoff classics. That was almost a must to sell all of those PSLs, IMO.

The next best way to sell PSLs is to put a winning product on the field, but time is/has run out for that.

Honestly, I don't think Rex, or any coach, will push a huge movement on the number of PSLs that are sold. You've got the group that will buy them because they have the disposable income and they like pro football regardless of the coach. You've got the much larger group (which I'm a part of) that does not have the disposable income to make the purchase of PSLs one worthy of consideration, regardless of the coach. There is only a small group in the middle and if the Falcons have not been able to put up a post season winning team nor does the PSL include other events outside of Falcons games, I can't see much that would sway them in the direction of purchasing PSLs. The coach will sway a few one way or the other, but it's only going to be a small percentage from an already small group of people.

By releasing information that it's $45,000 and then later releasing information that most of the sections will only be 'around' $5,000.

Oh and letting all the most senior fans that they will have seats as 'close as reasonably possible' to their old seat locations once the best seats have all been sold/given to corporate sponsors and VIPs.
