Mr.11
Do you watch the Redskins? They have wayyyyyy more problems than RG3.And Jay Gruden's playcalling and overall team preparation was part of it.
TheFatboi
Nah. We need a guy like Marty Mort or McDaniel. We can even keep Koetter as long as the next HC is commited to running the ball or moreso balance on offense. 70/30 ain't gonna cut it. 60/40 I can go with. Wolpertinger
Don't take it so personally. Strong opinions are allowed. As far as the playcalling, I disagree. He may have had an opportunity to run a lil bit more but I think his QB caused a lot of problems and they had a terrible defense like us so a lot of times they were behind.I totally agree that Cutler causes headaches, but I watched most of their games this year, and his play calling showed little creativity. His offense was less effective than ours against similar opponents. I really don't think he brings anything better than what we've had under Koetter. WOR
Treatman has single handily turned one of the best offenses in the NFL into the laughing stock of the NFL.The Bears had one of the best offenses? Interesting. Funny you don't give him credit for creating that offense last year....But again. Let's gloss over the fact you want an offensive coach as DC

Let's gloss over the fact you want an offensive coach as DCI admit that was a mistake, but that was soley based off of his defenses at LSU.Now for Trestman why did his offense flop this year? Can he not adjust?

Can he not adjust?Did you not look at his QB?... He had success with Josh McCown. Look at how the Bucs struggled with him. Trestman made him a winner. Yall don't see to understand how much a turnover proved QB screws up your offense.
Geaux_Falcons
Trestman would be a great OC. The Bears had injuries and bad QB play this year. If you at least take away Cutler bad performances, that offense would have shined better. I'm all for Trestman for OC. He made Chicago an efficient offense last year and had me thinking Cutler had finally settled into being a top QB.
WOR
Trestman also seemed to incorporate all of his weapons(Marshall, Jeffrey, Bennett, and forte). Koetter seems to be pretty ****** at that. Tells me trestman knows how to build a true offense.

That less than Matt's this year. Now if you factor in his missed games he probably would've been around 15. But this year was a completely different story... I'm not saying Cutler is great, but it couldn't be blamed all on him. And as a side note the players don't like him. Even Robbie Gould complained about him. And he the freaking kicker! You know you just said Cutler was fine when they had one of the best offense right? You're making my point for me lol. With a good QB trestman is fine. When Cutler sucks, everyone sucks. See Tony Romo.

My bet is he doesn't know how to adjust, and as we all know we already have that in Koetter...
