Still waiting on you to answer the question. Not sure why you're so angry lol it's a simple question. Do cam and Matt have the same ability when it comes to avoiding pressure? I don't need a long paragraph. Just yes or no.

I answered that question. And I'm not angry at all believe me. You're just saying stuff that has no relevance really. Like I said. Cam was sacked 38 times so obviously what you're talking about doesn't even matter. He didn't avoid pressure 38 times. Lol. He was sacked more than Ryan. Edited by TheFatboi

Not standard . It's a player stepping up and not folding .

Too many excuses for this QB . Ryan fails in big spot .

Tired of excuses. He deserves criticism for his play yesterday and this season

Back to back losing seasons. Unacceptable for a QB many believe here is close to elite

Bro, not to take anything away from Eli in that San Fran game, but the Giants pretty much dominated the 49'ers defensively in that game. The QB was given several opportunities to win that game and he did.

Wrong. He was lit up in NFC champ game vs 49ers

Yet Eli battled and played under those circumstances and made plays

Ryan crumbles

2012 Atl vs Carolina. Matt Ryan sacked 7 times. Outcome? Atl wins 30-28. Including a 63 yard pass out of his own endzone to roddy white to help set up a game winning FG.I think every good qb has Had these kind of games. It's also other things that have to work on your favor. In the ny/sf game Eli's defense kept the game close so eli could overcome the 6 sacks. Just like that Carolina game was close in '12. When the game gets out of hand it's hard to overcome that. The game yesterday got out of hand fast. Edited by TheFatboi

Eli has had back to back losing seasons.......... and he has had his fair share of playoff blunders

like 0 td 3 pick game vs the Panthers where he had a qb rating of 33

or how about his 0-2 performance vs the iggles with a qb rating of 40

or his 0-0 performance with a 70 rating vs the packers

or his 2 td, 1 int and TWO fumbles vs the Pats in the superbowl???

or the overall 6 games where he completed less than 60% of his passes?

Elis "stepped up" because of a couple miraculous catches made by his receivers

Eli has also helped his team to 2 Super Bowls what has Ryan done ?

Every QB has their fair shRe of bad playoff games

The difference tho Eli, Flacco, Ben, etc all have had their fair share of very good games with no turnovers and big plays in big spots

Ok so what's the issue ? Ryan was bad yesterday . Oline was bad . One doesn't equate each other.

a bad line directly affects qb play. Especially when there's no running game to lean on. Once Carolina took a 2 score lead they pinned their ears back and teed off on Matt. Simple football. Not rocket science. That's how we beat Arizona and NO. Pressure busts pipes. For the falcons to stay in that game the score wouldve needed to stay a one score game. Edited by TheFatboi

Ryan played an EXCELLENT game vs the niners He looked away at the wrong second but other than that he was **** near flawless. The int he had was not on him as Roddy slipped on a timing route.

And all of those guys had been lifted up by their TEAM..... something that has not happened here.

You are putting everything on Ryan, and giving all of those other guys credit when guys like Ben won a superbowl because of his defense

That's point many here are saying it's because of POOR OFFENSIVE line play

Nah. He was awful cause he was making bad decisions and inaccurate throws and not being able to put points on board . One doesn't equate the other

it absolutely does. Pressure can force mistakes and turnovers. He was hit 20 times and sacked 6. Aaron Rodgers ain't comin out of that unscathed.

Of course that's common sense man but Ryan pick 6 forced us to play catch up and then had snow ball effect.

Ryan played a excellent game vs 49ers ? Ohh a int and a crucial fumble is playing excellent plus having ball in his hands with 2 mins left and not coming through is excellent ?

Ryan's first pick 6 was because the receiver was on the ground

the 2nd one was on him but not the first one.

The fumble Roddy had when we ere driving had as big of an impact as the first pick 6

Common sense but most QBs face pressure. It's not just Ryan. Ryan just doesn't deal with pressure very well .

And Bro if we had Aaron Rodgers yesterday

He is not leading us to 3 points

Sorry man .

I think the way to evalue Matt Ryan is "Is he on the Problem Side or The Solution Side?" In other words, is he contributing towards the solution of the bigger problems or is he a part of the bigger problem?

From a Mindset POV, I think he is part of the bigger problem. Maybe because he inherited a disaster and wants to protect the Brand image, maybe because he got paid big money and didn't set a bigger goal, and possibly he didn't want to deal with Mike Smith and FO anymore (tanking).

The problem with this approach is that he must like getting the crap knocked out of him because that is exactly what he's getting. I've never seen a Franchise $100 Million QB take the hits that he takes. When Russel Wilson, RGIII or Colin Kaepernick takes hits, their idiots, dumb and stupid. No QB needs to be taken unnecessary hits. When Matt Ryan takes a hit, he's a tough QB huh.png ???!!!

I agree. But that's also directly tied to pressure. When a team knows you absolutely can't runbthe ball playaction is no longer affective and they will just sit on routes all day. Carolina scored 21 points off turnovers. 1 because of roddy's fumble. They knew everything we were gonna run before we ran it. Great game planning on their part. They wee on top of everything. The whoke team played poorly. Ryan most definitely.

Dimarco dropped a wide open TD. That woukdve kept the gane close and slowed Carolina from just pinning their ears back. So actually Ryan lead us to more points but the dropsies stopped a TD.
