Break The Bank For Pass Rushers

Recommended Posts

Charles Johnson.........maybe not.. Hardy is an athletic freak though. His final two years with the Panthers, he really came into his own. I know he has the legal trouble, but I fully expect the jury to come back with a not guilty. He's going to make some team very happy with a one year rental.

JPP is a favorite of mine.. I don't think he's worth the massive contract that he will probably want though. His play has been too spotty the last couple of years.

Problem being with us we have invested already in 2 34 DT's and have used the round peg in a square hole type scenario in the way we use them and also drafted Hageman who'll probably fit as a 5tech RE in a 34 both JPP & Hardy would have to specifically be OLBers for us going foward if picked to buy them in FA.If we were still a 43 team I'd grab JPP and hardy in a heartbeat and use them to there strengths and even give Suh a look also as an option.

Well we can still rn the 4-3 with the guys we have upfront

Jackson at the 5 could be used like Red Bryant was in Seattle

Hageman can be Under tackle and Soliai can be the NT, then who ever we add can play the outside edge rusher, JPP, or Houston ( if available)

Our guys are scheme versatile as long as the schemes make sense...... having Jackson and Soliai on a 3 man rush on 3rd and long does not make sense.

Hageman has Suh like potential with out being a headcase who is a strike a way from being suspended for a year

56 I would'nt want to see it i want to see these guys used in a full time 34.

At this point in time I want to see us bolster the pass rush by go getting to specialist 34 OLBers and a ILBer.

Also love to see what Mike Nolan can do with that full time 34 mindset no hybrid just something similar to a Niners 34.
