So, IOW, give Matt Ryan a perfect team: great receivers, great RB, great OL and then we can fairly critique him, right?

Do you see the picture, yet?

now please let us all know the perfect team Ryan has has thus far ?? He has always had an average defense at best . When he first got here the oline was maybe above average but has been degraded every year - the last 2 years it has been decimated out of the gate. Defense is argueably worse - actually it is worse. So at least aknowledge that Ryan was working with piss poor NFL talent and he took a beating most of the year with the exception of the last few games and today our patch work line couldnt keep him upright.

I have seen what pressure does to qbs - from Rodgers to Manning to Brady - if the o line doesnt hold up they look like crap. Buit I guess the Superbowl performance of lastr year by Manning has already been forgotten ??

Matt is and always will be a rhythm passer.. He needs protection to be successful and when he gets it, he's a surgeon..

If not for his enhances pocket awareness and new-found ability to extend plays with his feet, this season would have went even worse.. Just another example of Ryan needing to play a perfect game for us to be successful, and that this team's success partly has come from overcoming coaching these years.

That's because they demand it of their o-linemen and don't shrug after a sack and tell them to get em next time

Curtis Painter was behind Peyton's o-line that one season, it didn't look like one of the best

Maybe Peyton didnt use enough intimidation in last years Superbowl to properly motivate and garner the respect needed for the o line to block and keep him upright ???

You can say that for any QB! Give me a break, please.

Peyton scorched the Seahawks defense in last years Superbowl after having a heated talk on the sidelines . They instantly maned up and blocked for him and the game turned around and Peyton earned the MVP ! NOT ! The oline that came in banged up couldnt give Peyton time and he made turnover after turnover - so much for the myth of commanding enough respect you can uplift the talent level of an inferior o line !

Calling it like it is...I don't do the emotional post thing. Ryan had NO time today. Every time he hit the last step in his drop, defenders were an arm's reach away from him. The line didn't do their job today. HD, has developed into a solid 3rd wr, but he has no physicality. He goes down easy, he isn't overly fast, and we have seen the drops and lack of concentration by him. Roddy's fumble you can't let happen. Ryan threw picks, trying to make a play with no time, but he has to take responsibility for the picks. Just goes with the territory.

Julio is the true STUD that even a guy like Richard Sherman gives the respect to. He is the guy that is feared by EVERYBODY. However, he is nullified when Ryan has no time. Don't buy the crap by our coaching staff about "sack being overrated." Smith and the anybody saying that should have been fired immediately for such nonsense.

The only way to get where we need to be is to get players worth a ****. Tyson Jackson is worthless, we knew this based off his past. Paul Soliai hasn't really had a run stopping impact. Our linebackers are USELESS. Bartu and Worrilow were undrafted for a reason. Having them out there on the field is part of the reason why the team SUCKS. Trufant is about the only player we have on D. The reset can walk b/c they are not more than 3rd string talents at best.

The more people talk up Maponga, Massaquoi, Quizz, Goodman, Bartu, Worrilow and the likes, the more I hear "we're going to lose." No talent and having them around make this team what it is, 10 and 22 over the last two years.

He bottled it the Meadowlands in 2012, he bottled it in the NFC Championship game, he bottled it last year at home to the Saints and he bottled it again tonight. MATT RYAN you have lost the fans tonight, you do not deserve these fans. YOU ARE NOTHING, YOU ARE A FOOL, YOU ARE A WASTE OF TIME. GOODNIGHT.

Which QB got to the Super Bowl and which had 4 wins last year

Sure let's ignore the rest of the games because one game fits your argument. Which QB has been to 3 super bowls?

dont make stupid statements and you wont get called . Peyton couldnt overcome a ****** , banged up oline that was missing starters . Why the **** would you expect Matt Ryan to be able to do the same when its proven time and time again that if a QB doesnt have time to throw they are usually unsuccesful. Couple that with the fact we have 1 starter on the oline that has played every game .

did Peyton lose the Superbowl or did his line fail him ??? He shopuld have been able to make those plays , especially after chewing his line out and elevating their play ( this is your theory now )

Look, the man has to hurry and force everything because of the oline. Let's not forget the play's out the ying yang that are so foolish and predictable we bomb out 3 and out more than ever. Say what you want about "our" QB, but this man can play the game "with the right people in place". Matt Ryan is a timing QB and only will work out best for him with a good run game and oline.....don't even get me started on defense! The man has fought his azz off and some of you numb nutt's criticize him to death. Change is coming and I hope you will be here on this board trying to bash him when the Team wins it all. Carry on hater's and maybe you will get what I'm saying one day.

He has his Super Bowl win already if you missed it

yep and had a good oline and an average defense that caught fire in the playoffs that year. We are talking about how he performs when he has a ****** oline though - now you were saying ?
