A Ray Of Hope For The Falcons This Week . . . . Proof That The Bears Are That Bad Now Rather Than The Saints Have Anything Fixed: Jimmy Clausen

The Bears offense is in such disarray that they have named Jimmy Clausen as the starter this Sunday over Jay Cutler.

Jimmy Clausen.

During his rookie season one of the football websites, ESPN, NFL.com or something, listed their individual stats in groups of 10. By the end of the year, there were only 31 quarterbacks who had enough passing attempts to qualify for rankings, so the 31st quarterback in each category was separate from the rest of the league with their very own line of futility.

Jimmy Clausen was the sole occupier of that position in **** near every category.

It looked like the stats were divided for every other starter in the NFL . . . . and a special line just for Jimmy Clausen because he was just SO FAR off the back. (Something like this, but Clausen was 31 and there were ONLY 31.)

Congratulations to Jay Cutler and the Chicago Bears (and the Saints.) You have made Jimmy Clausen an NFL starter once again.

[Alternative perspective: The Saints made Clausen a starter, while the Falcons made Cutler a Pro Bowler.]

Why even make these comparison, do you realize that the Bills beat the Packers right, a team that destroyed the Falcons if it weren't because of the prevent defense from the Packers the score would have been even more lopsided, at no time was the Packers ever in danger of losing that game, I think the only people to not realize that was in the folks in Georgia.

The Bears are truly a dumpster fire. Every time I feel bad about this team, I need only to look at them.

The only thing that makes me sad is we let them beat us before they collapsed.

If we were in the same division, the Bears would have the tie-breaker over us.
