brown bomber
Chris Ballard: Pulled his name out of the Tampa search last year, and he will probably be the first guy on a few lists. Has extensive experience in both college and pro scouting.Nick Caserio: Many took his Dolphins interview in January as a signal that he's ready to seriously consider leaving Foxborough. Instrumental in Belichick's recent Patriot makeover.Tom Gamble: Carries a big stick as an evaluator for Chip Kelly and played a major role in the Niner's recent revival. The Jets interviewed him in 2013 and could circle back. There are other names on the list such as:Duke TobinEliot WolfLionel VitalThe link is on NFL.com if somebody can post it for me. Those are my 3 favorite that I wrote about. I've been pounding the table for one of them for the longest now. Especially Ballard or Gamble. Lornoth
I hear there's this guy Thomas Demi... something or other. He's a good GM but his coaches ran his team into the ground these past couple years.

Falc_Fan_Since_Six
Keep TD. Give him another shot, i think he deserves it more than Smitty.Ridiculous! Dimitroff is just as responsible, if not more so, for this train wreck of a defense. I'm ready for a change at both positions but I dare say we could win games with Smitty at the helm if Dimitroff had ever found us some legit pass rush talent. Karst41
With Thomas Dumbitroff it has been one Titanic Disaster after another. The 2009 Secondary,,,,,,,,,,,nuff said!Julio Jones Trade was very close in point value worth an ENTIRE DRAFT!The Offensive Line catastrophic failure of 2013,The Lack of pass rush for SEVEN YEARS Straight! Our S&C Coaches and Trainers do not know wtf they are doing. Center, Right Guard, Right Tackle All replaced the same F'n Season.Sam Bakers GUARANTEED CONTRACT! (areana league payoff?)And if Van Gordhaid was not bad enough he hires NOLAN who is so F'N badBVG we made mistake in letting BVG leave!TD needs to go back to NE and play grab asz in the shower with Joshy Poo McDaniels! Lornoth
Its the GM's job to prevent that! TD has Failed.Oh really, what's he supposed to do? Go down and coach the team for Smitty and send him home early? It's the Coaches job to Coach, not the GM's.

I trust TD then some of you because the man did bring in talent, the man brought you Tony Gonzalez, Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Michael Turner, Devin Hester, etc that's talent. Now I know he lacks talent defensively with the exception of Desmond Trufant.

Might as well rename them the Atlanta Bulldogs if that ish happens. If you think Dummy Trough is bad wait til u see Gdawg draft UGA's 3rd string center in the first round. I'd promote Smitty to GM before I let homerdawg run things LOL
brown bomber
Ballard and Gamble are my top 2 with Caserio #3. Gamble is from the Bill Polian tree. If anybody had ESPN insider can u post Adam Caplan's list of top GM candidates. I know Gamble is #1 but can't see the rest. I'll take any one of the 3 above. Having the NFC's best record from 2008-12 and #1 seed twice in three years are not titanic disasters, unless you are going to run with the ridiculous argument that anything less than winning a SB is a titanic disaster. If that's the case 31 GMs deserve to be fired every year.As for not having a pass rush for 7 years that is a ridiculous comment as well. Prio to 2013 we had pass rushed who is in the top 10 on the all time career sacks list. We may not have been a great pass rush team, but to say that we didn't have a pass rush is just not true.
