Sj39 will be gone

A.Smith coming off broken leg

Roddy white a shell of himself

Matt bryant is 40 and wont play forever

Blalock over 30 on the decline

FA would net us 2 good pass rushers and a DT who would instantly be the best interior guy we have. We grab a future star LB in McCkinney and DB to replace one of the DB's who leave whether it be McClain/Arenas/Wison

We roll the dice on an uber talented RB with 1st round potential

We get a talented WR in the mold of a young Roddy

We grab a road grader to groom for a season to replace Blalock.

This scenario nets you 4-5 new starters on defense if u include Spoon, an upgrade at TE, and a nasty 3 headed monster in dyer/Freeman/Smith

As much help as we need on defense, we still cant afford to take an unbalanced approach to the offseason. I would hate for our D to finally show up, but our offense is a couple years away.

Offensively, your talking about alot of "will be's", right now we have the worse defense in the NFL, you take care of RIGHT NOW before "will be". We have to score 30 points mandatory in order to have a chance to win the game. That's too much on a defense.

Right now we have relatively no problem scoring on offense, we have a big problem stopping anybody. We make mediocre, average, and rookie QBs like Jay Cutler, Teddy Bridgewater, and Andy Dalton look like pro bowl players. That's the biggest problem, not what Matt Bryant or Justin Blalock "will be" in 2015-2016.
