Jake Vs. Clay: Who Won?

I have higher expectations for Jake next year than this year. Due to that high ankle sprain he suffered early in the year he just hasn't looked quite right at times. BTW PFF has him rated as the worst LT in the league...I don't think its that bad but I do think Jake can be better

Jake isn't the same as he was two months ago when he was putting up -10.0 grades on PFF. So one could argue that that ranking is pretty out of date at this point.

Of course Clay is going to help his younger cuz look good.

GB did not need sacks to thump our aszes.

The Pack only played at 90% last night.

At this juncture of the season. if they really needed to they

could have easilly crushed us. EASILY!

Did you see Biermann and Rogers laughing at the end of a few plays.

Rogers was all like,, WTF is wrong with your coaches,, how do you tollerate it?

Biermann was ,, aww man,, same as when Farve was time was up and

refused to leave and yall traded his skanky old asz to the **** Jets.

If I had to give the edge to one or the other, I'd say Jake won. "Hair Boy" only got to Matt one time, with some help from a teammate, therefore, he only got half a sack.
You have to wonder though, if the older Matthews took it easy on his younger cousin ---- guess we'll never know ---
But I think we are set at LT for quite a while, barring serious injury!

McCarthy burned all three of his timeouts in the second half on defense because his guys were getting run out of the stadium.....and that never happens in the NFL. Things wouldn't have been that tense on that sideline if they were taking it easy.

Because he did not have to job him to help get the pack the win.

You can credit McCarthy for that too.

I am not saying that Jake is a bad player,, he is quite good but he is a Rook

and Rooks get jobbed as and when needed.

I watched the entire game last night. and let me try to state this another way.

I have been following the NFL for 53 years now.

There are games when players can be shifted around a bit for the sake of

wtf ever.

No way did they need to let loose the dog on a relative.

So here if you leave Clay on Jake all night, it just becomes obvious.

Now on the other hand, the NFL is an Entertainment business and

last nights game was very good for the NFL because ESPN has CASHED IN.

MNF has been on a Downward Spiral for Years now and lemme tell you,

Last night was a Vitamin Booster Shot in the Arm for ESPN.

So what part of a $14 BILLION per year business do you Not Understand?

SO lets see GB's defense just wasn't trying? Dilfer said they were bored. Well they almost got bored in to a loss. Way to step it up going in the final couple weeks of the season. I will give you that their offense right now is UN -FRICKING-Believable. They got punched in the mouth and were completely gassed.

Jake Matthews and the rest of the O-Line one this battle.

Might be one of the most absurd things I've read here in a while...
