Falcons Players Beat Themselves A Lot Of The Time. It Has Nothing To Go With Coaching Sometimes

Recommended Posts

Matt Ryan throws a crucial pick 6 when we should have gone up 0-24.

But the score was 7-17

Devin Hester drops a crucial touchdown right before half when coaching staff did well managing the clock. We could have gone up 10-24.

But we setteled for a field goal because of that drop, so the score is 10-20.

The Cards are still in it and it wasn't because of coaching errors. You don't think these player mistakes will come back to haunt us at the end of this game?

And people wonder why we always play close games...it's because of player errors.

That's true, but we have an epidemic of drops. That is on the coaching. It's the coaches job that the players are put in the best position, and prepare them for situational football. Catching errant passes, making opportunistic turnovers, making big special team plays. That's not something we've done as well as we should .
