Dharma Initiative
Based on what I am seeing, that talent was starting to come together independent of coaching. One of the big moves of his tenure was getting rid of Alex Smith. He would be a lot better off with Smith now. Kapernick: 2,615 yards passing, 15 touchdowns Smith: 2,211 yards passing, 13 touchdowns Neither QB is actually good. Harbaugh kept Smith from being a complete bust and dumped him for a pick at least. since68andcounting
He polished Alex Smith and Kapernick into looking decent for stints. Imagine what he'd do with a QB that's actually good like Ryan.No. Not at all. Kap looked good as a rookie because he ran all over teams like Vick did and no one knew how to scheme for him. He has regressed. Alex Smith is a game manager. When you have a defense like the 49ers that's all that is necessary. That team is LOADED with talent.Had Navarro Bowman not broken his leg they would already have a Super Bowl. But Harbaugh is NOT the reason. It's the players. Flying Falcon
Think I would rather hire a guy who has never been there than one who has and lost. This is the most idiotic thing I've read on here. And we've did hire a coach who never been. We're screaming right at this moment that we want him fired from this organization.
Falconguy
Can't win the big one.He would fit perfectly in the Atl

Other examples.Harbaugh lost in the NFCCG to the Giants on a muffed punt, He lost in Seattle to a team of destiny. And in all honesty, he probably should have lost to us too, if our coaching staff didn't go full Mike Smith after being up 2 TD's. Point is, at least he got there. If you make it to enough important games you will win eventually.

dirtybird2k5
I don't want him. He's a drama queen, with more than a few screws loose. He inherited some of the best defensive talent, but failed to keep his star players out of trouble. He did Alex Smith dirty, for an overrated Michael Vick clone. The players have lost respect for him. At least we can still say the players respect Smitty.
FalconFanSince1969
So we're going to cherry pick posting this when he's losing a game? I'll take knowing he's been to THREE STRAIGHT NFCCG's over knowing that the 49ers had a bad game. What a stupid thread.
