At this point in the season I would actually say yes to this.

He a very good pass rusher, the only issue is IMO we've done much better out of the 4-3 because we don't have the ILBs to play the 3-4 so I don't want us tinkering to much out of the 3-4 just because we signed a good OLB rusher.

If we can fit him in than being him here, we are in first place, we need to make a push, we need help with the pass rush, sign him.

Sure sign him now, maybe he will know the playbook and be able to suit up week 13-14.

Sorry, i fail to see the point in bringing him for 3 games or so on a sht team.

he can't be worse that what we have right now...he will be a situational player and could be on the field this week....doesn't take weeks to learn 10 assignments for a veteran

I say no chance he would play this week. Even long term, we are looking at a old player who hasn't performed this season.

Wouldn't hate the move, but fail to see the point. Its not like we will all of a sudden become a contender with him.

point is we would be instantly better at the LB position....just like james harrison, blount, tate...anyone better than the current starters arent needed....we just need more developmental practice squad guys
