cali_falconfan
Can somone here please explain why when we had malarkey and van gorder we seem to be a better stronger team and with these so called "coordinators" Nolan and coetter we only showed a flash of domanace for the "2012" season and not repeat again is it the players because the roster has changed a bit since then or is it the coaches what in the world happened to this team I think if we had that team from a few years ago I think we would be owning this division
PokerSteve
You have some good questions, but you're going to have to take them much further up the Falcon food chain to get any real answers.
Romfal
because TD and Smith had to find scapegoats for their own ineptitude. Now the excuses are running out.
*Old Pappy Falcon*
Yeah great question. We had a Rb in turner that could create the play action pass for Ryan. This was the guy's bread and butter here. Kept the D off the field for a while for rest. Van G, IMO did a better job in the most important phase of the Defense....Get them ready to tackle and had fire about it! Look back now and we miss that don't we? FalconinPA
Mularkey + BVG >>>> Koetter + Nolan. Makes me want to regurgitate to say it, but it is true
Power I
Mularkey + BVG >>>> Koetter + Nolan. Makes me want to regurgitate to say it, but it is trueGive Mularkey this version of SJ instead of the version of Turner he had and I don't know if that's true. Quarterback
This is like arguing which was better, the Ford or Chevy, when what we needed all along was a Maserati.
FalconFanSince1970
Give Mularkey this version of SJ instead of the version of Turner he had and I don't know if that's true.Mularkey would run SJax more than 10 times a game and we'd probably win more. 4LoveoftheGame
Ravens at the very least need to make the Saints use a lot of clock if they score
Sidious
I think both combos suck but this **** going on now makes you forget how bad MM or BVG were. Even Greg Knapp's playcalling looks better now & we all know how God awful that was.
The Shotfather
because TD and Smith had to find scapegoats for their own ineptitude. Now the excuses are running out. 100% this. You'll find no better answer.
WCFalcon
Keep in mind that we also had a consistent run game on offense. & As for defense, a more consistent pass rush with Abraham and a healthy William Moore.
