I was only able to watch bits and pieces today but from what I saw they looked awful, especially Blalock. Wasn't able to keep my eye on Jake

What did err'one else think?

They weren't bad, more like inconsistent, but with the playcalling like it is, and how patchwork the line is right now, it's hard to be that mad at them. Both our current tackles are learning, and need more experience, our LG has never been more than average to slightly above average anyway, and our center is a rookie UDFA, who shows promise, but right now is inconsistent at best. Asamoah is the only one consistently performing at a high level.

It's definitely clear we played a tougher defensive front today. They struggled a little. And it's only gonna get tougher with Arizona and Pittsburgh.

From what I saw us and Cleveland were about evenly matched. At home, you should win that game. It's hilarious that the best team in the NFC south is about as good as the WORST team in the AFC North.

I don't think the oline was all that bad. Definitely inconsistent though. I saw some plays where Matt had a sufficient amount of time to throw, or Sjax had plenty of room to run. The run game just needs fresh legs. Sjax is more of a short yardage situational runner or a 4th quarter "hold onto the ball" veteran. Freeman can burst through holes, and make the oline look better. Sjax just makes the line look worse than it is. Not to mention, the coaches calling pulls and trap plays with slow lineman. The last thing you want a slow lineman doing is pulling and trapping.
