AustinFalcon
Wtf was he thinking calling a time out when we could have run the clock down. I'm ready for Blank to fire Smith and Dimitroff. We have the worst defense in NFL history.

AndySG
I have no idea at all what was going through his head. There was no positives we could have got from that timeout.
Cheyakita
I'm normally against all these threads but....after the first half you would think someone would explain clock management but instead we do worse. Fire Smith today, maybe he can get a cameo in Dumb and Dumber
Wardog357
Embarrassing watching Smitty run this team anymore. We should easily won this game....hmmmm...how many times has that been said before?
Makaveli96
We made the exact same mistake we did at Detroit.

Rajhae Battle
Deep pass to Hester??? It was worse man, way worse. That's my point, if you are going to call a time out, then the subsequent play should have been a brilliant 3rd & short play, instead you go deep to Hester, I'm through
FenixFalcon
3rd and 2 to Jackson would've been an easy pickup...fail again.

ryan.comstock
That's my point, if you are going to call a time out, then the subsequent play should have been a brilliant 3rd & short play, instead you go deep to Hester, I'm throughI agree here. I wasn't as upset with the TO as I was with the subsequent playcall. I thought the announcers were acting as if the Falcons were sitting on the 20 yard line; it seemed like a good idea to try to make the field goal a little more reasonable. I remember the New Orleans game when Smith got extremely conservative after getting the ball back in OT instead of trying to get a little closer. Just because your kicker can make these long field goals doesn't mean you shouldn't help him out a litle. The third down play today should have been something that was a lock to get five yards or so, then they could have run the clock, forced Cleveland to use all their TOs and the game is over.
