Andre5000
Justin Upton is being traded next. But we will keep Strikeout King BJ.
Dharma Initiative
Pretty happy with this move. He wasn't worth the contract he will get and we get a good pitcher for 4 years
gafalcon1
Justin Upton is being traded next. But we will keep Strikeout King BJ.yeah. all jokes aside, im beginning to see what the braves are doing. they are in super rebuild mode. they gonna tear it down and rebuild around pitching. by 2017, bj upton's contract will not be a problem and THEN, they will address the offense...... RS91
Will miss the hype and high expectations That will inevitably be met in St. Louis. Meanwhile, Miller will continue to be an overrated #3 and probably blow out his elbow in another year or two. Being an Atlanta sports fan is so depressing. Guest facelessman07
I hate Wren for giving BJ that ridiculous contractKid is just lazy, he doesn't care cuz all his money is guaranteedBJ sucks, pun intended
RS91
Teheran, Wood, Minor (counting on him bouncing back) and Miller isn't a bad 4 at all It's not, but the lineup might be the worst in baseball. Chances are Justin and Gattis are next on the block. There is a very real possibility that the everyday lineup features Christian Bethancourt, Phil Gosselin, Andrelton Simmons, Chris Johnson, and BJ Upton. Freeman might set a record for walks because no one is going to throw him a strike all season.

Sponge
Heyward is an average player with above average defense. He has reached his peak imo.
ATLBrave
Heyward is an average player with above average defense. He has reached his peak imo. It's actually closer to elite defense, not above average.
Psychic Gibbon
Fans were demanding changes be made but apparently thought they could get blockbuster deals for the scrub players.
gafalcon1
Heyward is an average player with above average defense. He has reached his peak imo.im not buying that. same with bj upton. the braves havent had a hitting coach who could correct their swings. notice, EVERY atlanta brave had worst numbers this year than last. even freeman, simmons, etc. it was the hitting coach. now watch heyward become a 280-290 hitter up on st. louis with 20-25 homeruns. st. louis said in the press that the braves basically didnt know how to use heyward.....the cardinals will change that up...
