PrimitiveJN
Which brings me to this question. Is Roddy a hall of famer?I wish I could say yes but I doubt it. Especially seeing so many Falcons before him being overlooked. **** Mr. Falcon isn't even in Canton yet.

Mainly because he's been apart of a successful team most of his career. I think he has a better shot than guys like Mathis and Rison

Butudontseeme™
I think Roddy has too many contemporaries to make the hall. Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitz, Andre Johnson, Reggie Wayne will all be considered before Roddy. Shouldn't have wasted his first couple of years. TrapAHolic
Took Cris Carter forever to get into the HoF. Dont think Roddy has a chance unless we miraculously win a SB in the next 3 years. And even then....

jlrfalcon
He would need to get at least another 3000 yards and play until his late 30's to get in now.I will not say this is impossible, though, especially how Jerry Rice lasted 20 years and how the veteran Steve Smith has overcome age this year.It ultimately may come down to how much Roddy wants to keep playing. FalconFanSince1970
Which brings me to this question. Is Roddy a hall of famer? He would have to beast for two or three more years to be considered. Around the time he signed his new deal, I looked at the list of WRs in the Hall and others ahead of him stat wise and he will need a few more 80/1200/8 years to get in the conversation. That may be tough considering his age and the possibility of us going back to a more balanced attack. He might even have a tough time catching Reggie Wayne who is still active. 4LoveoftheGame
I hope he gets it this coming Sunday. He will be the 42nd receiver to achieve this so I think he is still has a way to go before he is in the Hall of Fame Talk. If he can hit 12,000 yards that currently only 22 receivers have hit, or better yet 13,000 yards that currently only 15 receivers have hit then the Hall talk can begin. Romfal
Which brings me to this question. Is Roddy a hall of famer?as much as I love Roddy, not really, unless he finished with a bang and a ring. HOF WR's numbers are over 14k now and I doubt Roddy plays 5 more years at a high level the way the wheels are starting to fall off.He will retire in the same year neighborood(+- 3 years) with Larry Fitzgerald and Reggie Wayne who I think will be in for sure, as well as Andre Johnson, Anquan Boldin, maybe even Steve Smith who you could have a conversation if they are better than Roddy
PriMeTiiMe
HOF or not Roddy will always be remembered as a Falcon great among fans. As loyal as they come and truely loves this franchise. Its right that he owns most Falcon receiving records.
