since68andcounting
Unscheduled emergency practice. Line up all the jugs machines on one side, and the players on the other. Group by position. Set them at various trajectories and velocities based on position. High balls, low balls, bullets. Long and short. I'm talking ALL positions except OL. They can work on the 5 man sled.Every time a ball hits the turf the offender takes a lap. But there's an out...each successful catch is counted sequentially. If the *entire team* catches 100 consecutive balls without a drop, practice is over. You go for 2 hours or 100 straight caught balls. Whichever comes first. NCFalconfan
Julio and Trufant should be in front of one for sure.
hjerry
I highly doubt that this would be allowed under the new CBA.
Falkonator
A jug machine won't help trufant until he properly learns how to catch a ball. On his almost Int yesterday he tried to gator chomp the ball instead of letting the ball go into his hands. He needs to learn to shape his hand like a diamond.when going for a catch, he just tries to squeeze it into his hands. A jug machine won't help him with that, but hey thats why they say he plays CB not WR

Falcons_own_nfc_south
I think we got enough of Jags machines than Jugs machines.
Ethanga62890
a Jugg machine would give him a lot of chances to learn how to shape his hands.i find it hard to believe no coach has said this to him before.
BCEagleATLFalcon
Put Hester in front of one too. For the endzone drop alone. The way we've been playing, I was sure those 4 points would ultimately cost the game.

Something that fires 5 balls at you almost at the same time, One ball is yellow and that's the one you catch. Since all the balls are sent in a tight group at the same time the other balls would represent the defenders hands slapping at the WRs hands. Falkonator
a Jugg machine would give him a lot of chances to learn how to shape his hands.he would have to learn before the use of the Jug machine tho. Or else he wouls try and catch em just like he tries now.
jeffro2000
Standing in front of one, won't help Trufant. I imagine the guy can stand in front of a Juggs, or someone else and catch balls all day like many of us. Running full speed, and picking up the ball with it almost to you is a different animal though. I know he practices this everyday in practice, and probably practices with a Juggs too, but he just can't catch. It stinks because he is in position to make game changing plays every game, but can't catch.
