JaGz
Ok. Post up. Who is the better owner? Tight wad smith( Sr or Jr) vs Blank? You all have an opinion voice it? The franchise is better now than ever. Don't agree. Tell me why? Coaching aside!!

FalconFanSince1970
Blank is better in terms of sinking money into the team. The Smiths were better in terms of staying out of football decisions. Oh and people used to call the Smiths the Clampetts. Well they bought the Falcons for $12M and sold em to Blank for $545M. HeeHaw at that mofos. Mid-Nite-Toker
It's a push at the moment. Blank acts like the love child of Jerry Jones and Al RIP Davis.

HeeHaw at that mofos. For a long period of time R Smith was one of the most respected of the NFL Owners, because he made more money off the team than any other. So from a fan perspective it is BlankFrom the business side of the world, Rankin Smith and it aint even close. But Blank does not rely on the Falcons for a source of income or an allowance fromhis wife who was insanely rich. since68andcounting
I have to say Blank because despite recent frustrations, bad luck, and some bad decisions he DID make this franchise relevant. His heart is in the right place. He cares about the team, the players, and the city. He WANTS a champion. That being said, his biggest flaw is the same. He cares too much. He needs to get completely (or as much as possible) OUT of the football decisions. More Rooney, less Jerry Jones.Which is exactly why I think it is not Blank's place to fire Smitty. That should entirely be The GM's decision. But if I were Blank and that little weasel tried to fire Smith to save his own skin, he'd be following his a$$ right out the door. FalconinPA
I actually liked the Smith's, they seemed like good people. Only thing is they basically knew nothing about football. We had some pretty *****y teams under them, but the worst thing I thing they and the Falcons organization did was let Primetime walk and join a division rival. Man was I pissed at that one.
