Sheldon Cooper
We know we are picking in the top 10, maybe top 5. A look at the current percieved 10 best prospects.1-Leonard Williams DE/DTHonestly I think his production can be found in every rd of the draft. I do not want him in the top 10.2-Marcus Mariota QBI know we dont need a QB but I think this guy is going to be a franchise QB in the NFL. He is worth a top 10 pick.3-Cedric Ogbuehi OTI have not even looked at him one time since we have a LT from last years top 6 pick and RT is not something you draft in the top 10. 4-Vic Beasley OLB 3-4I know he will get Von Miller comparisons taken at this part of the draft but I dont see Beasley as half the player Miller is. TFL and sacks are comparable in jr sr years. Vic is 10 lbs lighter than Von though and does not impact the run the same IMO. I like his speed and strength for his size but I am concerned that someone will draft him expecting Von Miller and not get that. 5-Brandon Sherf OTThis dude is a beast run blocking. He is not the pass protector that Jake is and again I would rather get a left hand dominant RT in rd 2.6-Jamies Winston QBLike Big Ben I think he will be a good QB along with whatever other comparisons you may draw. We dont need QB but he would not be my choice anyway.7-Amari Cooper WRGood possesion reciever, but too many drops and he is nothing special catching the deep ball. Best reciever in this class but top 10 is too soon for him. 8-Randy Gregory DELong but lean. And his production is pedestrian in the big ten no less. I could have a change of heart but for now I have doubts that do not belong in the top 10. 9-Andrus Peat OTNot a lot of push in run game, gets pushed back into QB too much vs pass. He doesnt hit target on the second level like a top 10 tackle should. Again we dont need a RT #1 but that is the value in this draft. I just like Tyrus Thompson better than these guys in rd 2 anyway. The gamble is the run on OT's that happens in rd 1 every year. 10-Todd Gurley RBOther than Mariotta, this is the one top ten talent I have few reservations about. I love how he gets the corner with speed. I love him catching the ball and getting in the open field where his stiff arm is lethal and effortless. He will even leap over diving tackles. He can go over the top at the goal line. My lone concern with Gurley is tough yards in tight spaces. He can be had if you get him before he gets started. He is a little too easy to go down for a feature back too. I want to see some Eddie Lacy in him to ease these concerns. He is a home run hitter when its blocked up for him and that may be enough. The NFL is tight places to get through up the middle and that is my concern and where I want to see him be special. Everything else is Adrian Peterson like.People flip out when I say Marcus Mariota is the safest pick in the top 10. That is my opinion. If we pick 6 or 7 I have no problem with Gurley so long as I see some tough yds between the tackles.
Duff_Man
Knowing what little I do about most of these guys, by process of elimination, Beasley looks like the best bet. He is a top player and fills a gigantic need for us as well.
kiwifalcon
I'm not to phased by the draft if I'm honest because I want our pass rushers and LG replacement found in FA.If we do that it opens the draft right up for us and we can go multiple directions. What I will say if we can add a blue chip talent regardless of a position outside or QB & WRer then I'm good on that front too. Sheldon Cooper
Beasley has a lot of good players around him. I was more impressed with Stephone Anthony when looking at Beasleys footage. Anthony at ILB in middle rds would be good. Beasley could end up being situational pass rusher. Dee Ford was a late 1st rder because he is a non factor vs the run and therefore a 3rd down specialist. Beasley may be that guy on draft day.
Sheldon Cooper
I agree that we need to buy a pass rusher in FA this year. They take time to develop so I dont want a DE until rd 3 if we gotta be patient with him. I love Alvin Dupree there. SEC DE with size and quickness but production is down. That may not matter to pro scouts, he could go higher.

Sheldon Cooper
Reggie every thing you said is conventional wisdom, so what would you do with a #6 overall pick this year if you could not move down, no takers? You are right about WR and RB but I think Gurley is my pick for now. Duff_Man
and what position is he gonna play because he sure is not lining up at de at 235 in the nfl?Like I said, I know very little about these guys. Was going based on position more than anything. I have no idea where that guy even goes to school. The only two I know are Gurley (Because the UGA dorks won't shut up about him here) and Winston (because he is a criminal). RS91
Leonard Williams could be had in the 6th round, Randy Gregory is unproductive, Amari Cooper is a poor deep threat, and Todd Gurley struggles to break tackles. I really hope no one takes this moron seriously.
Guest Negatorris
Cooper is gonna be better than Julio.Williams should be target numero uno.And you must seriously be in love with Mariota. He isn't as good as you're making him out to be. He'll get drafted by a sorry team and that team will continue to suck.

DMT11
Dont see that DOm PR yet this year - but there are guys coming one and there are lots of guys that have "potential" SO - in this draft we do not need the top LT QB or not being Super Mega Ultra Radical Uber Bestest Ever! PR talent, I would try to trade back if we are high enough - We need players that we can use at each level that we know will be contributors - Perryman, we could get Shreiff later as well and or a PR top of 2nd or so - either way we do it, we need quality starters with the first few draft picks. Ideally I would love to be number 1 and trade back.
