jl01102jl
Regardless of the outcome of the Saints game tonight, the falcons will be 1.5 games out of first place. If we win vs the Buc's coming off our bye, We will be in control of our own destiny in the NFC South having 2 games against the first place Panthers still to come. This **** season is hardly over. We can still win a playoff spot. I honestly think we are improving, Firing Mike Smith could be the best option for this team right now... The move would show that this type of play is unacceptable, and also getting a better game manager would be great. The most logical move would be putting Armstrong or Robison in place as the team would have less adapting to do.
RYNE
This season is over. This team is horrible

RS91
Yeah I can't wait to get into the playoffs at 6-10 so the Packers can come into the Dome and make us their prison wives again. It'll be ******* great.
jeffro2000
I was optimistic during the 1st half of today's game because the D has been better the last 3 weeks, and the O looked good early. Then we found a way to give away the game.I see no way we can beat Carolina. They aren't good, but they will beat us both times. We are a 4 win team at best IMO. (Cleveland/Tampa) We could lose both of those too.
Falcons&Bulldogs#1Fan
I have been a ardent supporter of the Falcons since 1972 but after this fukking game I can't watch them anymore until Blank fires that dumba$$ Mike Shytty. He is the worst coach in the NFL. He's completely clueless when it comes to game management and suks even worse at personnel decisions not to mention player development. What the fuk is Blank waiting on? How much worse does it have to get before a head coaching change is made?
E. T.
If, and thats a BIG if...we were to win the division and get to the playoffs,we would make total azzes of ourselves in the first round... I'm convinced of no story book ending here my friend.
Tony Diesel
But what about our two best players?Oh, you're the one that wants to trade Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. Two Pro-Bowl talents in their prime. Our problems are:A. CoachingB. Our entire defenseC. Our O-lineNot our QB or receivers
trubirdfan4life
just tank on purpose....not try as hard as you can and still lose.....succeed at somethin...even tanking
DaSteeleboy
You're exactly right. Atlanta's next 3 games are against TB, CAR, CLE. However, the chances of us winning the division are about the same as a meteor hitting the georgia dome. Very, Very slim.

The Shotfather
Can someone please tell me what ******* good making the playoffs would be? Just so we can get skull****ed on National TV and make the NFL re-think their rules on automatically letting division winners in? No thanks. The Shotfather
PROS OF MAKING THE PLAYOFFSWe feel better. CONS OF MAKING THE PLAYOFFSWe get embarrassed yet againDimitroff keeps his jobSmith & Co. keep their jobsFocus switches from blowing up and re-building the team to "finding the missing piece that can get us over the hill"Nobody held accountable for anythingScrew that. This team needs to lose out and a ton of people need to lose their jobs.
FalconinPA
The suck is very strong with this team. We can't even say for sure that the Bucs won't blow us out.
Bawse
We are done, and if we somehow win the division it will only hurt us with Smitty keeping his job and TD as well. Fug that, had enough of this regime.

Osiruz
Lets see:We can't protect the passer, run the ball well enough, and don't play any defense.Yepp season's done. We need to tank.
likeriver
Whoever wins this division loses in the end. They'll get blown out against the wildcard. At least the other team will get good draft picks.
Guest Gritz
Some of you guys just need to accept what is:This version of the Falcons is terrible. The rest of the season will play out horribly and changes will be made. They aren't good. They won't win the division, and more than likely Smith and Dimitroff will both be fired.
