Coach_Petrino
Julio cannot drop that ball. CANNOT! And you also cannot commit a penalty! Detroit should've had 30 seconds.

Coach_Petrino
And then we burn a timeout for no reason. News flash: if we keep some time on the clock we could kick our own field goal!!!

Osiruz
Shouldve never came down to that,we dont have an NFL caliber coach. I dont blame the players, they played great the first half.
FentayeJones
This was a team fail from top to bottom... its ignorant to put it on just one player.
Coach_Petrino
All we had to do to win this game is not drop the easiest pass in the history of man, and not commit offensive holding to stop the clock. There are a lot of things you can point to, but these are easy and basic. We had 2nd down with 1:50 left, they had no timeouts, and we were on their 40 yard line.If you cannot win in those circumstances, you are not going to win many games. Road Warrior
I agree, he obviously didn't understand the importance of catching that ball

I dont blame the players, they played great the first half. They also played $hitty the 2nd half. Smith didn't throw a dumb as$ pick. Didn't tell Ishamel to let Tate beat him over the top. And then Julio - our "best WR" - to drop the ball in a clutch situation.
Osiruz
Ryan fumbled a few times, threw a stupid doofus pick. Defense gave up a grip of a 3rd and 25's. I'm telling you guys, mike smith can coach a team of 52 jesus christs and they'll still fall flat on their face. This team today showed they had talent. The coaching lacks, big time. We got our sphincter ripped on third down because we play this stupid fooking zone defense and nurse leads. Your insane If you don't think Smittiot doesn't deserve to be fired like multiple times. Osiruz
Inexcusable. This is the worst defensive coaching I have ever seen. 3rd and 25, 3rd and 70 are automatic with this team.

I Even Bleed Red
Ishmael was playing a zone. We got our sphincter ripped on third down because we play this stupid fooking zone defense and nurse leads.Your insane If you don't think Smittiot doesn't deserve to be fired like multiple times.I didn't say he shouldn't be fired. Nothing will save him now. I also think TD should be fired because we have 0 talent. In all fairness, the players just made unbelievable mistakes to let the Lions win this one. Ishmael burned on 3rd and 25 (no matter what the call was), Matt Ryan throwing it to the other team with no Falcon nearby, holding call when we're running the clock out, Julio dropping gimme passes when we are running the clock out. That's why we lost this one. But I do blame Smith for not going for more points at the end of the second half. We all knew we'd need them. Coach_Petrino
The Ishmael play was bad, but I think Julio's drop was the worst play in the game. If Julio catches the ball, the following things happen: (1) 40 more seconds run off the clock, (2) Matt Bryant can probably kick a field goal. I feel confident we would have won the game if Detroit gets the ball down by 5 with about 50 seconds left and no timeouts.

The INT by Ryan, Julio's drop, and offensive holding in the two minuted drills are all examples of player incompetence the coaches couldn't overcome.
