Suh vs Stone and Ansah vs Carimi is going to be ridiculous to watch.

You just gotta wonder what is going on in Matt Ryans mind. Like what the he!l is he thinking about this week.

*Tice sits down with Ryan and Coaches in film study*

*points to Lions Dline*

To Ryan: "Yep... You're fuccked."

Run the dam ball. Dives, off tackles, draws, traps, counters, sweeps, tosses, reverses, double reverses, you name it. Throw the book at em. Make em think twice about ear pinning, then use play action double moves to get over the top. Every team can be beat. DET is no exception. Don't quit. Wise Up!!!!!

The Lions are 2'nd in the league in rushing defense, i don't think that will work any better. And i'm usually the one hoping for more runs. Jake is the only guy that's above average at run blocking we have left, and i know you don't like him.

At least balance it a little bit. No wonder we aren't scoring many points when all we've been doing is running pass plays the opponents can sit on.

I hear you, and i agree, i just think with our line as bad as it is, running will help open up the passing game but it won't win the game for us on its own. Not against the Lions, whose strength is the front 7, their secondary is where you have to beat them.

Who cares you if you want success attack a teams strength you don't run away from it as then we are just going to RINSE WASH REPEAT.

FFS is right the only way this team goes foward is if we go back to a bit of smash mouth. If we're pretending Ryan is going to pass his way out of this we may aswell fold up the tent now and head for the off season.

The problem in my eyes is Koetter even when we are behind we have to stick with the run if we don't as above we're wasting our time.

There's attacking another team's strength and then there's being too strong headed about it. You need to test team's strengths but if your gameplan is to beat the other team's strength with your weakness you're not going to get very far.

How can we get at there secondary when Ryan has no time.If we go after there DB's early we are allowing the Lions defensive front to tee off our line from the jump.

For me I don't care how long it takes we have to stick with the RUN and quickly if we are serious about turning this thing around.

But you have to try it to bring them up and then push it down the field, otherwise we will have to rely on screens and playcalls where our receivers turn at the first down marker and have to drop back to make a catch that puts us in drive killing situations.

Right now teams know we just give up on the run and play accordingly. Too predictable.
