fansince78
Some people seem to be of the opinion that a regime change will instantly put the Falcons back on top of the NFCS. I was curious as to how the long term fan felt about this. Sometimes a new HC and GM take over a team with all the pieces in place to be great. In the case of the Falcons, I don't think it will be so easy. Out of 53 players, we might have 10 that are a good fit. What do you think next season will be like and what would you like to see take place if and when a new regime takes over? clownorg
9-7 isn't too unrealistic with maybe a wildcard spot
falconfanEST1989
our division i could see 10-6 or 11-5 i actually think we have the best offense going forward the aints will be almost 30 mill over the cap and will have to make some big roster moves.... Guest Gritz
Too many things could happen for me to even make a wild guess...but I will anyway. With the state of health of the offensive line (and no guarantees about the timetables on the returns of Holmes and Hawley), the shocking lack of talent with the Falcons front 7...I'd have to agree with clownorg and say that 9-7 is about the ceiling of what this team could achieve-even if everything went right. D-Byrdz 4 Life
well, in theory the most honest answer to your question would be to win the super bowl
Psychic Gibbon
Switch a defensive scheme that makes sense for the personnel, build a 3-4 LB corps, and implement some balance to the offense.

falconidae
Panthers can franchise Newton next year, give themselves another year, Saints can wiggle off the salary cap hook, they do it every year.Falcons can be a super bowl contender with the right staff in place, return to health of some players, esp. Oline, right FA/draft- grab best pass rusher available FA, followed by best pass rusher 1st pick, or a boatload of picks for their first pick.Falcons have invested a lot of draft capital in D last 3 years, add a couple of good pass rushers and a more basic scheme, this D could be worlds better next season. Mass needs to be the 3rd or 4th best pass rusher on the team, not the number 1 pass rusher.Oline looked good before they all went on IR- get some of them back healthy, grab a solid veteran RT in FA, another Olineman with 2nd pick, run the ball a little more, Find another WR- maybe Reedy, assume Toilolo can improve-this whole team could look and perform differently next year.
