rollo lawson
I remember wanting to trade down and draft Zach Martin and a pass rusher. God knows we needed both. By staying put, we filled one need. Could have filled two. By the way, Martin can play tackle too? He is looking **** good in Dallas. Guest facelessman07
MatthewsHe's been injured the past few weeks. Sit him and Ryan both till his ankle is healed up. Makes no sense to make it worse when he's a long-term investment

Judging from his level of play before, it's definitely bothering him
Kayoh
It doesn't matter considering Martin got moved inside to G and Matthews is tasked with being our starting left tackle.
Kayoh
How do you always get through the cursing filters?I just really hate censorship. I use a closed, empty bold tag inside the curse word usually to get around it.

Kayoh
As for the topic, Jake Matthews=Joe ThomasZach Martin=John TaitJohn Tait was a dang good player, but he isn't in the same hemisphere as Joe Thomas. Same is true regarding Martin and Matthews. I'm confident in saying that Jake Matthews will go down as one of the top 5 greatest Falcons in NFL history. The problem with this logic is that Joe Thomas was instantly one of the best tackles in the NFL when he came into the league. He was drafted in 2007 and didn't give up a sack until 2008. Jake is very clearly not on the same level as Joe Thomas. You were suspended for 2 weeks back in 08 for bypassing the filter. Just letting you know to be careful, because some mods don't take it lightly.Understood - I don't remember being suspended in 08 and there are no notes on the suspension so I had no idea what it was for. But, we needed a franchise LT and we got one in Jake.
krammmit
This was the same discussion about Robinson. Jake is best.
