Tony Romo Is So Much Better Than Cam Newton.

Brees is a lock to throw 5 more "WTF" interceptions this season.

Brees is a weird one this season. I'm sure he will get back on his path soon enough. He has been a little interception heavy at the start of some other seasons also, hasn't he? and he eventually got them under control as got deeper into the regular season.

Worst interior pass protection in the league, Brees' true kryptonite. We have had to face some of the meanest DTs in the the past 2 weeks though, Melton and McCoy are monsters.

I say he's in for 5 more just because its 11 more games and even number years are the Saints' worst.

Aaayoooo

And this is even with a minimal rushing grade (he was actually in the negative as a rusher until that Bengals game)

I'm wondering just how many of you have "actually" watched Cam this season instead of talking out the *** like usual. He's been on motha ******* point as a passer and looked great in the pocket. Going through the reads, finally putting touch on the ball, moving in the pocket, not forcing throws, etc. etc. Considering what he's got around him right now and his injuries... the man is playing amazing.

Yep, you're ****** for the foreseeable future. He's finally starting to put it together.

Not hating but WFW has seen puhlenty of overthrows! Hey, according to this Matty Ice is a good runner?

You can probably thank the saints for that incredible statistic, given the 5-10 times during our game where he went for a casual walk against our defense for a few first downs.

every qb has those "WTF" moments during a game ... Cam has greatly reduced the number of his "WTF" moments.

 Before the Bengals game, Ryan was a better dual threat qb than Cam was.

Cam seems to be able to center in a lot better and stay level. I thought to myself briefly yesterday when the trainer was taping him up and he was nearly crying into the towel that we could see 2011-2012 "pity me" Cam come out at the worst / most crucial time in the game, and once he came out, he just got back in there and played... i would almost say i was impressed.. but Cam never impresses me, i hate that guy! terrible terrible qb!! tongue.png

Proof of worst interior pressure.

defensive talent, a less decapitated oline.

Yeah.. we're allowing on average around 35 points and over 440 yards a game these last 4 games. Defense is not really a line you want to bring up when talking about other teams strengths and weaknesses, both our defenses suck right now. It is not a strength in Cam's favor. Oline is as bad as the Falcons.

At 61.7%, he's 23rd in the NFL in completion percentage this season.

That is pretty good for him though.

19th actually if you go by QBs who have taken over 60% of their team's stats. Screw counting those gadget plays with RBs/WRs throwing the ball and backups who only come in for a couple of plays.

He's also experiencing a drop about every 17 attempts, (which considering his attempts compared to someone like Brees... really skews up those percentages).

Just for comparison, Brees, who has thrown 43 more passes than Cam has only had 11 drops compared to Cam's 10. 1 more drop in 43 more passes.

Defense:

Carolina (26th ranked - 392.5ypg; 24th ranked - 26.2ppg)

Atlanta (31st ranked -419.0ypg; 29th ranked - 28.3ppg)

Offense:

Carolina (18th ranked - 343.8ypg; 17th ranked - 23.5ppg)

Atlanta (3rd ranked - 410.0ypg; 5th ranked - 27.3ppg)

Know what that means? It comes down to turnover differential.

Atlanta: 8 INTs thrown (7 by Ryan), 4 Fumbles lost; Defense has caused 2 INTs and 3 Fumbles

-6 Turnover

Carolina: 2 INTs thrown, 2 Fumbles lost; Defense has caused 7 INTs and 3 Fumbles

+6 Turnover
