Coach_Petrino
Trying to be objective here. Is Roddy White anything more than an average NFL receiver at this point? Why did we insist on extending him before the season began? On the other hand, we took the wait and see approach with Julio, who had a down game but overall is balling out of control and will command a Calvin Johnson type salary now. Seems like we should have done the exact opposite, and signed up Julio but waited with Roddy.I can't believe I'm about to say this, but we really need Harry Douglas back, and probably need to give him some of Roddy's snaps. HEIST
He's below average, bad even. He's not 100% but he's definitely not giving 100% to the team either. My favorite Falcon but he looks like he's just here to hang out with his best buddy Julio Jones this year. Dharma Initiative
Extending him after an injury-plagued season when he's getting up there in age was pretty dumb. Roddy is done being a good receiver. A lot of fans don't want to accept that, but it's true. And now he looks like he doesn't give a **** when he plays, which makes me pretty mad about the whole extension altogetherSay what you want about Gonzalez and how he acted a little after he left. You know what he didn't do during a bad season? Quit on the team
Clark Kent™
Roddy is not done. Yeah he is done being a 1,200 yard receiver, but he isn't "done". He has had a down year thus far. Drops and fumbles and just a total lack of focus. I have to imagine that it is because he didn't train hard enough in the offseason, but who knows.People need to also keep in mind that our entire offense struggled. He's unfocused, plays scared, gets hurt a lot easier, and doesn't get open unless the defense bites on a trick from Julio

This debate is going to turn into something similar to the HD debate. People who said HD was terrible needed to accept him for what he is.Same goes for Roddy. He is what 32/33? A possession #2 WR on a team that has extreme difficulty protecting the QB. His stats aren't going to be what they were because he has definitely lost some speed, but he can still separate, runs good routes, typically has solid hands, and has good chemistry with Ryan. He will be fine, but he won't be like he was 2 years ago.
Sipifalcon
Roddy is getting a pass from me more so because we have no choice since he just got resigned so...

Domed Outter
Roddy was concussed yesterday after that lick. You can't tell me otherwise. Why is it that players hit on a helmet to helmet come off for a play or whatever but the defender that made the hit gets a free pass? Also if they are so set on safety then fine the officials for missing the obvious.Even 2 plays later he got held (left arm hook) and nothing.Wish I didn't have to say this but we need Douglas back. YoungHeezy
Something is going on with dude, and it's bigger than football. He's playing with no life at all, on top of the dropped passes.
