I don't see the Saints getting above 8 wins.

Anywhere from 4-12 to 7-9 is my guess.

And if Rob Ryan lasts until the end of the season,as our DC, I'd be surprised.

Van warned us about Ryan...unfortunately he was right.

This yrs Div winner could have a worse Record than 2010 Hawks

can you Imagine if 6 wins is good enough to get a home playoff game....

lmao

Is it Big Rob, or the players?

I mean... the defense IS only one year removed from being the worst in NFL history. The Cowboys were pretty f*cking bad last year too after he left.

I'm thinking that last year was the aberration...that he used more "smoke and mirrors" to hide our deficiencies.

He's expanded the defensive scheme from what it was last year and now those deficiencies are exposed once more.

I think we can win the away games at the Panthers and the Bucs if our O can play like they were playing toward the end. If we can continue to be viable in the Dome we could end up 10-6 or 9-7, possibly just enough to squeak by. But I'm not holding my breath.

I'm not either.

I agree. What did he think he had to go away from the scheme that made you the legitimate #4 D in the league?

It's Ryan. We don't have the players to run this scheme.

Then, damit, its time for Payton, Loomis, Benson or whomever to lay down the law on RR and tell him to roll it back to last years D and that he can scheme his schemes when we get the players that can scheme his schemes. Since most of the players know last years playbook, the new guys should be pretty quick on the uptake. There could be a chance yet for the Saints if Ryan tones it back to what he had the D doing last season. There's no need to can the guy unless he's not willing to go less exotic and more plain.

Rob Ryan is only a part of the problem.

He has dialed it back.

He put Vacarro back at playing every position.

He can't make the number 2 CB stop a pass.

He can't do crap with his defensive line not getting sacks or pressure.

Carey White played better last year cause the front four got pressure a lot.

Any scheme will struggle when your front four can't beat a one on one.

John Jenkins has been a healthy scratch two weeks in a row.

Is it the injury not healing, out of shape, or just being in the dog house.

I can't or wot put everything on RR
