etherdome
Let's face it, the Bucs might be the worst team in the NFL. Having said that, here are some points that make me feel more optimistic about this season:1. We thoroughly beat an inferior opponent. When was the last time a Falcons team actually did that? Usually, we make a newbie Qb look like a star. Last night, we completely dominated an inferior team, in every facet of the game. Excellent preparation and execution. Regardless of the level of competition, this is something to build upon.2. Ryan gained confidence in his secondary receivers. I think that Roddy's absence helped Ryan gain some confidence in Hester, Roby and Weems. It may not look like much today, but that could pay off handsomely late in the season. 3. The DB's were in position to make plays. This has been my bug-a-boo for a while. I can't stand having talented players confused on the field. Too often, our DB's look like they are playing together for the first time. I don't recall any blow coverages last night. I have not been able to say that for several years! Please let this be a sign of things to come.
raysnill1
It's kinda hard to believe but we had several turnovers too. Just imagine, if it wasn't for that bum Lamar Holmes being the weak link we might have really beat the Bucs down
