The Vikings have reinstated Adrian Peterson and he is expected to play in Sunday's Week 3 game at New Orleans.

The Vikings are using the "due process" excuse following Peterson's indictment on charges of reckless and negligent injury to a child. Of course, if Peterson wasn't the best player on the team then he'd be held to a different standard. "Today's decision was made after significant thought, discussion and consideration," read a Monday statement from the Vikings. "As evidenced by our decision to deactivate Adrian from yesterday's game, this is clearly a very important issue." The NFL's hands could also be tied as Peterson's case winds its way through the courts. Still, we'd hold Matt Asiata on rosters just in case Roger Goodell steps in. Sep 15 - 11:48 AM

The "due process excuse"? Isn't that a right?

You innocent until proven guilt (2 game suspension).

Then you guilty when a video tapes leaks on TMZ (perm suspension)

then you innocent and cant be found guilty 2 days 1 sec later because of a loophole in the rules (so you can return to work on day 3)

So due process is the process of not being able to be guilty since you play good football. Your only guilty is you suck at playing football. Then its off with your head for a speeding ticket.

How many people are going to play him in fantasy regardless how negative they feel about the switching?

Who is in rival central fantasy meetings that has him? and are they going to sit him?

Panthers continue to get killed by the national media.

May as well start Hardy on the field, if his teammates are okay with it, and get killed by the national media, compared to not playing Hardy, still get killed by the national media and have some on the team wondering "WTF?!" to their best pass rusher not playing, after Richardson said he will be patient and let things play out.
