Xfactor
Why is it so obvious that establishing the run in a hostile environment will help you in so many ways to win the game. We have VERY talented running backs and not one is afraid of running hard and getting those tough yards. It takes the pressure off the QB who is already missing both starting guards. It nullifies a great D and takes a toll on them late in the game.It helps keep your suspect D off the field and fresh when on the field.TOP wins gamesOpens up passing lanes to keep the D honest. Why Why Why can't they see this. When we wanted to run the ball with our talented backs we were successful. I always thought Smith had no clue how to utilize our talent and after today I'm convinced. These are very talented guys that could have taken us to victory but no let's force the ball to the divas and have Matt running for his life.Rodgers ran well right up the **** gutSmith ran what twice ? Sooooo much talent being wastedFreeman when he got his shot ran hard as **** proud of the rookieJackson **** he even looked good when the right play was called.Where the **** was the screen pass /smhC'mon game plan to these guys strengths and no way they could stop them. The O-Line did ok opening things up.For some **** reason we started running the ball (with success) in the 3rd and 4th quarter. If Smith and Koetter knew how to use these guys we would be 2-0These guys are sooo talented if schemed correctly they could run on any D/rant off Edited September 15, 2014 by Xfactor
jlrfalcon
But why do we always run the ball on the first play of every drive right up the middle (except maybe once or twice)?Does it seem opposing teams are alway ready for it and hold us to a 1 yard run and subsequent 2nd and 9 where we certainly have to pass on 2nd down? Nino11
I didn't get why when they finally decide to not run a dive they ran that power play with Jackson. He is not as spry as he used to be. Let him get north and south ASAP and let Freemen and Quizz try and hit the wider runs. Our o line aren't gonna line up and blow many lines off the ball on power plays let alone the Bengals D-Line

Nino11
I said that earlier. I remember Tone getting one touch all game....we should try at least two screens a game to him. We got killed in TOP so I think that factored into the limited touches for the backs
