TrufantIsland
From what I could see, our corners were in Cover 3 a lot of the times?

TrufantIsland
I don't think we have the defense, to play Cover 3 al the time. Against the Bengals I would suggest going into Roll or rubber, because they are gonna pass it short go Bernard a lot
YoungHeezy
Not with our pass rush
primetime
Can't play man without a decent pass rush and especially when the lbs can't cover the flaring backs. It'll lead to big gains from TEs etc with corners playing with their heads on receivers and not the qb. We have corners to play man and that's it period. Tru looked great in the cover 3 btw
jeffro2000
I may sign up for NFL Rewind just for the coaches film, but what was Ishmael doing out there? I saw him out there, but pretty certain Lowery/Moore were also in there too.Just wondering what his role was. If we had 6 DBs on the field and no Bartu or what? I guess we trust his tackling over Wilson's a corner. Just noticed him in there on quite a few plays. Assume he was in there over Bartu at times to provide better coverage, but not a total disregard for the run.
