The Shotfather
They don't know yet whether or not it was the HMS Terror or the HMS Erebus. I first read about these ships about a year ago when AMC announced that they were going to adapt Dan Simmons' The Terror into a horror show. The novel is a re-imagining of the events surrounding the ill-fated voyage of the HMS Terror. The real stories are pretty gnarly- insanity, cannibalism, all the things usually associated with groups of people being stranded, but Simmons apparently takes it up a notch in his novel. Haven't read it yet but I want to now. http://home.cableone.net/news/read/category/Top%20News/article/the_associated_press-canada_finds_1_of_2_explorer_ships_lost_in_arctic-ap

Boogie Man
Old shipwrecks make me think of how balsy pre-20th century sailors were. The ships were so freakin small by modern standards, I'd be leary of taking one, especially one from this period, from Miami to Nassau
