primetime
Honestly TD played this pretty well then. He has managed to keep guys who are ready to go right now and emerging guys get some more time to develop. The big keepers for me were Baker (I think he'll be activated by mid season honestly), Allen, Reedy, Gunn and Robinson.
delaigle
IN general --there are actuall more requires than I'm listinThe normal 8 slots are for players who have been in 6 or less games and on anyPS less than 3? yearsthe 9/10 slot are for players who have been in less than 32 games --I think Robertson takes one of these since he has played in 12 gamesso the last 2 may be 1 rookie type and 1 player with some playing timenote they could not have re-signed Robertson with out these 2 new slotsI still bet that he would have made the 53 if not for these 2 new PS slots

delaigle
I'm satisfied but there are a few things I'd just like to comment on1. Sorry they lost Schuler2. Hope they will give Boldejwin another look when he is healthy (they've done that in the past)3. I'm not second guessing but I would have put Robertson on 53 and Cliff Matthews on PS --just saying what I would have done not saying they are wrong4. Sorry there is no room for Mabin5. What does Jer. Smith have over Vaughan?6. I liked Hagen --did anyone pick him up??7. I was neutral on Rumph but many friends were high on him. --numbers game ??? I agree man keeping Baker is huge, maybe the most important piece of the entire PS IMO ....
dmo_dlo
I think the fact that two PS spots remain free suggests that players we are interested in are considering multiple clubs, or are negotiating contracts.

JDaveG
Everyone I was worried about getting cut ended up on the practice squad except Amsterdam, and he's hurt. I can live with it. I'm less peeved about it than I was before.I'm kind of glad Smith made it. Hopefully Cox can keep a foot in his *** and turn him into a player.Edit: forgot about Shuler. I wish we'd hung onto him. JRid
I really wish we didn't lose Schuler because he was looking pretty good and I saw nothing out of Bear Pascoe at all. One of the two open spots will absolutely be a TE because we only have Toilollo and Pascoe.I am fairly positive we will put Amsterdam on the practice squad once he is healthy so I expect to eventually have a TE and Amsterdam plus some other changes will probably happen. gHost83
Smallwood must really suck to not make the PS. We already are thin at MLB and still can't make the squad. SMH. Must not have the drive...
