What's the point of this thread? If "no one can debate this" then it doesn't seem to make much sense on a discussion forum.

I'm guessing you're trying to draw the Mike Smith defenders into an argument?

I can debate it. Dan Reeves' legacy is based on one season. A great season. Smith has put together consistent winning. He's the winningest coach for a reason.

Smith is just missing one Super Bowl appearance to beat him out IMO. That's all it's going to take from Smith to beat him out a SB appearance not even a win.

Still, heavily favored underdogs going into Minnesota... no one had us winning that game even close.

Only because the media were having ridiculous wet dreams over the Vikings.

No team that goes 14-2 in the regular season should EVER be disregarded the way the 98 Falcons were.
