Freshman Who Will Make An Impact.

Isaiah McKenzie - could be an excellent return specialist.

Nick Chubb + Sony Michel - we go deep at RB but they should get some touches and both are great players.

Jeb Blazevich - we're thin at TE, so if he shows up he could have an impact as a freshman.

Hard to see any freshmen having an impact on d... if any do, it will be in the secondary and I have no idea who is working into a position to contribute.

Joe Yearby. He is a flat out stud. He will back up Duke but he will have those "wow moments." Chad Thomas. He was the best pass rusher last year in South FL. Kiy Hester. Sean Taylor like physicality. A big hitter that can also play centerfield. I love Kiy Hester. I think he will be a difference maker real soon. Kid is a scud missile

1. Matt Thomas. Big 6 has out on about 20 pounds since coming to Tally and is probably has the best instincts to come through Florida State in a long time.

2. Dalvin Cook. He is probably gonna get only a few carries to start the season but by the end I expect him to see quite a bit of playing time. Already proved to be the fastest running back we have with more than enough moves to bust a game open.

3. Ermon Lane/ Travis Rudolph. One of these two is going to be counted on in a big way this year. Depleted receiver depth with their talent and it has big year all over it.

4. Trey Marshall. Will be playing Lamarcus Joyners Star position. After his spring he will see the field early and often.

5. Stephen Gabbard. Due to lack of holes in the team I had to pick someone. Gabbard will start long snapping for FSU as a freshman and will likely be a 4 year starter.

Drew Barker if he wins the job... Elite 11 QB and if anyone has a chance to make an impact on a squad, it's the QB, but if he doesn't win the job he will probably redshirt.

Dorian Baker - big, fast receiver quickly making his way up a thin WR depth chart

Garrett Johnson - another WR who is turning heads this summer, wasn't as highly touted as Baker but has been outplaying nearly everyone

Kendall Randolph - Easily our best freshman defensive player at a thin position. Won't start but might be the only freshman to see significant time on D

Mikel Horton - Biggest RB on the team, already has an SEC body but we're stacked at RB so he may RS as well. Other big back (Josh Clemons) is really good but a big injury risk

Edit - just saw that redshirt freshmen can be included... Gotta add Regie Meant, he may not start but will definitely be in the rotation at DT. Also our kicker is a RFR, so he may have the biggest impact of them all :)

Sony Michel and Nick Chubb duo at RB will be special and provide Gurley some much needed rest throughout the year.

Isaiah MacKenzie is called the "human joystick" for a reason and I expect him to get some touches on ST like Carter mentioned earlier.

Dominick Sanders and Shattle Fenteng in the secondary because they are both rangy and quick and will have ample opportunities to force a few turnovers in the depleted secondary. I expect Fenteng will start right off the bat and Sanders will follow suit about midway through the season. Need a big impact from these 2 versus the other freshman in order for this D to be successful.

Do you think Barker starts over Towles?

Sac do u really think both Chubb and Michel will play? With Gurley, Marshall, Douglas, and Turman all there? I'm big on Chubb so I hope he does. I'm just surprised u think both will get carries
