Perfectly fair prediction. Sometimes I think you guys just argue so much based on who posted it, rather than what was posted. If GDawg posted a similar thread and predicted 12-4, some of you guys would be slobbering over his genius.

An 8-8 season while not ideal, would demonstrate the massive turnaround and improvement this team had over last year. I actually have us with 9 wins and fighting for a WC, but this is certainly reasonable.

For the most part Payton has gotten the best of this team. It's a huge game for Falcons if we were able to win the game opening day it could set the tone and start to mend the sounds from last season but I don't think defense will be up to par start week 1

Yeah...that Saints D is gonns have a hard time stopping Matt and the boys.

Why isn't it? It's a 4 win turnaround. Pretty impressive if you ask me. Again, it's not ideal, but I really have my doubts we're going to go right back to an 11-13 win team each year. It's just not reasonable in my opinion. Lots of improvements were made, but we are still one of the shallowest teams in the league.

An 8-8 season is what you predict when you really don't have a clue as to how the season is going to play out.

Granted we went from 13-3 to 4-12 so 8-8 is somewhere in the middle. However, 10 wins has been the norm. 10 wins would be more acceptable after some pretty good offseason moves and a lot of close losses last season.

8-8 is just a "I think I know what I'm talking about" sort of move to me.

Week 2 @ CIN - Loss Cincy at home will be a hard fought close loss

Week 3 vs TB - Win revenge on the mind after last seasons collapse in Tampa

Week 4 @ MIN - Win just don't see them hanging with us

Week 5 @ NYG - Win simply not as good as us, even with revenge on the mind from 2012.

Week 6 vs CHI - Win for Hester. Good game at home.

Week 7 @ BAL - Win Flacco won't beat us.

Week 8 vs DET - Win improved but not better than us

Week 9 BYE

Week 10 @ TB - Win close game, we come out on top after bye.

Week 11 @ CAR - Loss close loss. Team plays well. Newton beats us in his house.

I didn't mean the entire offense, but 3 players. Assuming that not a single person gains another yard the entire season, it would be 91 yards behind the 10th team and 300 yards more than the next team on the list. If Ryan gets close to touching 5000 yards, Jackson/Freeman ain't hitting 1,800 yards. I'd bet my bank account on it.

There will be no other QB throwing for yardage, neither will their be another RB running for near 500 yards.

Even if Quizz and any other(s) somehow managed 500 yards, that's still 6200 yards, which would have been 7th overall last season.

Look at the Bronco's last season. Or even the Saints. Both hit the 5000 yard range and STILL rushed for 1900 and 1500 yards. **** even the Eagles and Packers managed over 2200 yards rushing and over 4100 yards passing. The packers were even playing without Rodgers.

I think he is going to be the Morris/Martin like surprise of this draft. Not anywhere near as dramatic, he's not rushing for 1500+ yards. But a pleasant surprise. 1000 I could see happening with an aging Jackson.
