We don't need another LB.

He's one of the better ILBs in the entire league..

we can't go trading draft picks....why trade a draft pick for a LB when we just draft 4 linebackers?

Because he is lightyears better than every LB on the Falcons' roster.

if he is light years better than every LB on our roster and one of the better ILB in the league, why would they trade him for a 4th round draft pick?

He's about top 20, maybe higher. A 4th has been the asking price for ILBs of his caliber. He's 28, the Colts just signed D'Qwell Jackson, and he will be a FA after this season. The Falcons LB corps is probably one of the worst in the league.

We can't just sit still either! This is Professional football! We are in a very, VERY tough division. Either we are going to try and cover all bases and contend next year for the SB OR we are going to try to build a team for three years out with young inexperienced players? 6-10 wont fly this year nor will the injury excuse. TD has to try all possible solutions.

SB or bust is such a stupid mentality

i dont wanna go 6-10, but even if we do, Dimitroff should keep his job, so should Smitty. Its just too shortsighted to fire guys like that. Let the man build his team. One losing season and everyone loses patience with him. Smh

Then why....

Took the words right out of my mouth lol

so you just randomly picked a player and assumed his team would take a 4th for him?

Not very random. The best Falcons LB went down for the 2014 season. Freeman is attainable for the reasons a posted above. LBs aren't worth as much as other positions and as I said I would go as high as a 2nd.
