DurtyBurdz155
Serious question man..Why rush him back? Let this man rest up for training camp. So what he horseback rides or even caught a marlin....He can't have fun? Let him rest up so he can be 100 percent
Bossmare
riding a horse puts pressure on your foot even at a walk and a horse can spook at anything such as a shadow . I been around horses a lot and if I had a value investment like Julio is I wouldn't want him near a horse yet alone ridingWalking on a seasoned trail horse who has no desire to expend more energy than is necessary is not in the same category as race horses souped up on steroids or Lord knows what else. You are just trying to make a moutain out of a mole hill.

BadMoonRising
Horse back riding requires you to be in amazing shape and puts lots of work on your body. While it does wear on you a bit, its no as much work as playing football or basketball. Grrrillapmpn Inc.®
Nobody remembers how many fans were saying Rod Coleman had no business riding a jet ski.Wasn't it put in Big Ben's contract that he couldn't ride a motorcycle after his wreck? (seriously asking, I remember talks but not sure if it actually happened)What swift is suggesting isn't that far fetched.

(seriously asking, I remember talks but not sure if it actually happened)What swift is suggesting isn't that far fetched.I believe that was in Ben's contract. The idea of minimizing risky off-field behaviors isn't far fetched at all. The idea that a leisurely horseback ride is a risky behavior is very far fetched. If he were in competitions where he was taking horses on jumps or around a track, I'd get it. But putzing around a trail? Its no riskier than stepping out of the shower in the morning.

AlphaOmega
yes where he seems his foot is okay to be able to go horse back ridingI actually agree with this....the OP is questioning his determination & mindset --> he doesn't have to be on the field practicing hard, but as a "#1 reciever" you should be on the field with your team mates, learning your craft, focusing on what you can do better, making improvements, suggestions, etc.......Tony Gonzalez mindset from last season is rubbing off on Julio

He wasn't at OTA's because his brother was shot. Geez...I can't see a single person staying at work after a family member is shot. Why in the world are we criticizing Julio for it? This is rediculous. These aren't video game characters, they are real people.

Assuming Jones can stay on the horse, or doesn't get his foot caught in the stirrup, he's fine horseback riding.
Tuggle'2
Here we go again with Swift and his off season conspiracy theories. Last year it was trouble between Ryan and TD with contract negotiations. All the sudden they weren't happening and then guess what happened next? .... lolThis stuff becomes retarded at a point. We've passed it. Leave it to Swift to try and be coy and start drama whefe there js none. Hopefully by this point nobody ia dumb enough to fall into it. I don't know the validity of what swift posted but it did say horse back riders are among those susceptible to get that specific type of injury. As another poster pointed out those injuries tend to occur with more spirited riding... Like they do in equestrian or on the ranch.Julio is riding a horse walking trails in a pack that's probably not even getting close to a full gallop. It's like someone showing you around the course in a golf cart. You could get injured doing either but the chances are pretty low.He would be more likely to be injured in a pick up basketball game.
